Chippy Susan Rajan

Assistant Centre Manager

Chippy studies Master of Telecommunication Engineering, Master of Datascience and Decisions (ongoing) at UNSW. She loves maths because it helps her think clearly and solve problems in everyday life. For her, it’s like a toolkit that makes sense of the world.

She loves teaching because she enjoys helping others learn and grow. Teaching feels meaningful to her as it’s not just about sharing knowledge, but also about building trust and confidence.

 

Tanika Inthirakumaran

Assistant Centre Manager

Tanika studies Bachelor of Civil Engineering at UNSW. She enjoys a good math question but in particular, solving those challenging math conundrums. She aims to teach her students in a comforting and encouraging way. She loves engaging with the students and allowing them to reach their academic potential in mathematics.

Vinudi Samaranayaka

Vinudi studies Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) at University of Sydney. She is an alumni of Hornsby Girls High School. Vinudi loves maths because she thinks it unexpectedly requires creative thinking. She loves teaching because she likes seeing students happy when they understand something.

Fiona Liang

Fiona studies Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Science (Advanced Mathematics) (Hons) at UNSW. She is an alumni of James Ruse Agricultural High School. She describes herself as flexible She loves maths because it's something she is relatively good at. She thinks there's a pattern in every kind of question; if we spend the effort to grasp it, would be able to see similar patterns in other questions. She loves teaching because it's rewarding to see students come to understand something they didn't before.

Valerie Wijaya

Valerie studies Bachelor of Actuarial Studies at Macquarie University. She is an alumni of Cumberland High School. Valerie loves maths because it comes quite naturally to her. She loves teaching because she loves helping kids learn, connecting with them, and watching the joy on their faces as they understand the concepts they've been struggling with.

Carina studies  Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW. She is an alumni of Cheltenham Girls High School. Carina loves maths because she enjoys solving problems and appreciates its real-life applications.. She loves teaching because she wants to inspire them to develop a greater interest in maths.

Preethi studies Actuarial Studies at UNSW. She is passionate about teaching Maths because it challenges her to think critically and apply knowledge to real life situations! She loves teaching because she want to help children achieve their full potential while enjoying the content they learn

Cherryl Grover

Cherryl studies Bachelor of Science and Master of Nursing at the University of Sydney. She is an alumni of Chatswood High School. Cherryl loves maths because it is applicable in many subject areas and helps to develop her understanding of the world around us. She loves teaching because she enjoys finding alternate ways to explain the concepts as per each student's learning needs and thereby supporting their learning journey.

Ethan studies Bachelor of Science / Master of Mathematical Sciences at University of Sydney. She is an alumni of Carlingford High School. Ethan loves maths because it challenges me to think critically and find creative ways to solve problems.  He loves teaching because he feels it is rewarding to watch students gain confidence, grow their understanding, and feel proud after solving a problem they once struggled with.

Stephanie Kim

Instructor
Stephanie studies Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Architecture at UNSW . She is an alumni of Cumberland High School. Stephanie loves maths because there's always a solution to a question, regardless of the many methods to solve it. She loves teaching because she enjoys helping students gain confidence in themselves and witnessing that moment when something finally makes sense to them. She also loves to see the students progress, since it feels very rewarding to her. Stephanie loves Taekwondo and she has a black belt in it.
