Yetunde is the Co-Owner and Centre Director of Mathnasium of Airdrie, bringing more than 30 years of teaching experience across elementary, high school, and college education. She holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Greenwich, UK,
Throughout her career, Yetunde has been dedicated to helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Her experience includes teaching mathematics in a specialized school in the United Kingdom and supporting children and families as a child counsellor with CASA Mental Health in Alberta.
Passionate about making math meaningful and accessible, Yetunde believes every child can succeed when learning is personalized, encouraging, and engaging. She is committed to building strong mathematical foundations while nurturing resilience, self-confidence, and a growth mindset in every student. Through her caring approach, she strives to ensure that each child feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Beyond Mathnasium, Yetunde remains actively involved in volunteer and community initiatives, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping children, families, and the broader community thrive.
Sumathi is the Assistant Centre Director at Mathnasium of Airdrie and a dedicated mathematics educator. She holds an M.Phil. in Mathematics and earned a gold medal for academic achievement. With a strong commitment to learning, she plans to pursue her PhD and continue growing her expertise in the field.
Sumathi believes math success comes from both skill-building and confidence. She creates a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop strong problem-solving habits through personalized, engaging instruction.
Funmi is a highly experienced instructor with a PhD and a strong STEM background, bringing both academic expertise and a passion for teaching to Mathnasium of Airdrie. She also teaches at SAIT, where she has spent years refining her ability to explain complex concepts in clear, student-friendly ways.
Funmi especially enjoys working with elementary and middle-grade students, believing that strong mathematical foundations create lasting success. She focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and persistence through patient guidance and supportive instruction.
Passionate about student growth, Funmi helps learners strengthen their core math skills while developing the problem-solving mindset they need to succeed in future STEM studies and beyond.
Israel is a bright and brilliant young man with a deep love for mathematics and a passion for teaching. He aspires to pursue a degree at a university where he can further develop his knowledge and skills in mathematics. Israel's affinity for math is evident in his exceptional aptitude. He has a natural ability to grasp complex mathematical concepts and quickly solve intricate problems. His passion for mathematics fuels his desire to share knowledge and help others understand and appreciate the subject's beauty. With his strong foundation in mathematics, Israel is eager to embark on a journey of higher education. Israel's dedication to his studies, his thirst for knowledge and his desire to teach others make him an excellent Mathnasium Math Instructor.
Robinson Olugbemiro is a committed mathematics instructor with a strong background in math, physics, and numerical modelling. With a Ph.D. in Geology from Eberhard Karls Universität in Germany, he brings deep analytical expertise and years of professional scientific experience to his teaching.
He has taught mathematics and science at Mathnasium and independently since 2022, and has supported students through various community tutoring roles in Calgary and Germany. Robinson is passionate about helping students develop confidence, logical reasoning, and strong problem‑solving skills. He strives to make math enjoyable and finds fulfillment when students finally “solve mathematical puzzles.”
Fluent in English and German, with additional French proficiency, Robinson is an effective communicator who creates a positive, student‑centered learning environment. Outside teaching, he enjoys running, travelling, photography, and spending time with his family.
Seyi Asa is a Systems Engineer-in-Training with a First-Class MEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering and over five years of experience tutoring mathematics to students preparing for 11+, GCSE, and A-Level examinations.
She is passionate about helping students build confidence in math through personalized instruction, engaging lessons, and effective problem-solving strategies. Her tutoring experience spans one-on-one, online, and volunteer educational settings, where she has successfully supported students in achieving their academic goals.
Seyi's areas of interest include mathematics, STEM education, critical thinking, and mentoring young learners to reach their full potential.
Jayden Yip is a University of Calgary student pursuing a concurrent degree in Mathematics and Education with the goal of becoming a math teacher. He received the Highest Achievement in Mathematics award in high school and has a strong passion for helping students succeed in math.
Jayden has experience tutoring elementary students and working with children as a cabin leader, where he developed strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
He enjoys helping students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a positive attitude toward learning. His areas of interest include mathematics education, student mentorship, and supporting young learners as they reach their full potential.
Treasure Odigie is an Engineer-in-Training (APEGA) and First-Class Honours Chemical Engineering graduate with a strong passion for mathematics, problem-solving, and student success. She enjoys helping students build confidence by breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps.
With tutoring and STEM outreach experience, Treasure brings a patient, encouraging, and student-focused approach to learning. She believes every student can succeed in math with the right support and mindset.
Outside of work, Treasure enjoys reading, volunteering, mentoring young learners, and solving puzzles. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation to develop a love for learning and STEM.
Rakesh Kumar holds a B.Tech degree with strong coursework in Mathematics, Calculus, Algebra, Statistics, and Logical Reasoning, providing him with a solid foundation in mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
He has experience tutoring elementary to high school students through volunteer programs, one-on-one mentoring, and academic support roles. Rakesh is skilled at explaining mathematical concepts in simple, engaging ways while adapting lessons to each student's learning style and needs.

Brahmjot Kaur is a passionate educator and mentor currently pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. With a strong academic background, including Academic Honour Roll recognition and achievements in mathematics and academic competitions, she is committed to helping students build confidence and succeed in their studies.

Femi is a dedicated Math Instructor at Mathnasium of Airdrie who is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve success in mathematics. Femi enjoys making complex concepts easier to understand and helping students develop strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting at the University of Alberta, Femi has a strong interest in mathematics, finance, and analytical problem-solving. This academic background provides a unique perspective on applying mathematical concepts to real-world situations and decision-making.
