Linh is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over a decade of experience in corporate finance and investment banking. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Toronto. As a parent of two, she is passionate about exploring educational approaches that support lifelong success.
At Mathnasium of Brampton South, Linh is dedicated to building strong math foundations and boosting student confidence. She also leads Financial Literacy workshops to help students apply math to real-life problem solving and develop essential critical thinking skills.
Rida holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. During her time at university, she led STEM workshops and taught math to middle school students, sparking a passion for math education.
Rida views math as a fun, logical puzzle and loves sharing that enthusiasm with students. She’s committed to helping children experience the joy of problem solving and grow their confidence as they develop essential skills.
Eric has loved math from an early age and has been teaching at Mathnasium for nearly seven years. He graduated from Nipissing University and Sheridan College with a Bachelor of Commerce and a diploma in Accounting. His favourite part of teaching is seeing the spark in students' eyes when a concept finally clicks.
Eric believes in comprehension over memorization, and enjoys making math fun and meaningful. Outside the centre, he plays soccer, basketball, and baseball with friends, and also enjoys movies, music, and video games.
Wiesia is a retired Ontario Certified Teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching math and physics in Montreal and Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Education from McGill University.
She is passionate about helping students overcome math anxiety and has supported countless learners through breakfast clubs and after-school programs. Wiesia brings warmth and wit to her role—she loves a good math joke and believes that math success is within every student's reach.
Arnav is currently enrolled in the competitive Business Administration (University of Wilfred Laurier) and Computer Science (University of Waterloo) double degree program. He has always been drawn to the clarity and logic of mathematics, which makes teaching math a natural fit.
He enjoys helping others develop a better understanding of math concepts while building their confidence. Outside of the classroom, Arnav spends his time hiking with family and playing video games.
Alvina is a Civil Engineering student at the University of Toronto. She did not always enjoy math, but her fourth grade teacher instilled a fondness for it which she aims to inspire her students with. In her spare time Alvina enjoys playing video games, media design and hiking with her dog. At Mathnasium, Alvina strives to inspire students with an appreciation for math and help develop the tools and methods that work best for each individual student.
Serina is a Psychology student at Laurier University with a passion for learning and teaching. She’s the creative mind behind the exciting Special Activities of the Month… so keep an eye out for what she’s planned next! With her enthusiasm for education and helping students grow, Serina aspires to become a teacher one day, continuing to inspire kids the Mathnasium way!
Mahi is a third-year student at the University of Toronto, specializing in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry. Mahi fosters a deep passion in education and works toward providing the upmost support for it. In her free time, Mahi likes to pick up new hobbies and likes to play the clarinet.
Rayyan is a Computer Science and Mathematics student at the University of Toronto, pursuing a minor in Finance. He has always enjoyed math because there’s always one correct answer and a clear path to reach it. Rayyan values solution-oriented thinking and enjoys helping students think outside the box to solve problems creatively. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, working on his car, and coding.
Laiba holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and brings over four years of tutoring experience in both private and group settings. Her passion for teaching began at home, helping her younger siblings and cousins discover the joy of learning. Laiba loves working with children and finds fulfillment in supporting their academic growth and confidence. She brings patience and positivity to every lesson, and when she’s not teaching or studying, she enjoys reading, solving puzzles, and spending time with friends.
Najid is an Electrical Engineer from McGill University in Montreal. With a strong passion for math and teaching, he is building a career in data and statistical analytics. Teaching for him is not just about sharing knowledge; it is an engaging exercise in mental agility that keeps his curiosity sharp. It also allows him to stay connected to his love for mathematics and problem solving. In his free time, Najid enjoys staying active, playing outdoor sports, and exploring new ideas in science and technology.
