Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Mary

Assistant Center Director

Mary is pursuing a degree in Mathematics at the University of British Columbia and brings several years of tutoring experience to Mathnasium. She has worked with students from elementary school through university, helping them develop confidence and curiosity in math. Her passion for teaching was inspired by professors who believed in her abilities and encouraged her to do the same for others.

Mary values connection as the foundation of learning. She believes math can be both exciting and empowering when taught with patience and creativity, and she enjoys seeing her students grow into confident, independent thinkers.

Kyle

Lead Instructor

Kyle studies Mathematics at the University of British Columbia and discovered his passion for teaching while volunteering at local high schools. He believes math can be enjoyable when students are encouraged to approach it logically and confidently. His patient and lighthearted teaching style helps students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

Outside of Mathnasium, Kyle enjoys solving puzzles, gaming, and exploring creative ways math applies to real life. He hopes to show students that math isn’t something to fear—it’s a skill that builds problem-solving, confidence, and curiosity.

Anh T

Passionate about making education accessible, Anh co-founded an English-learning startup in Vietnam for orphans and underprivileged children. At Mathnasium, she continues that mission by helping students see math as a path to confidence, opportunity, and curiosity.

Megan
