Renata
Assistant Centre Director
Renata earned her B.HSc in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University. She has years of tutoring experience, helping students develop their math and academic skills with confidence. Renata is passionate about her role at Mathnasium and finds it incredibly rewarding to help students understand new math concepts in ways that make sense to them.
Outside of the centre, Renata loves baking sweets and exploring nature. She finds joy in the connection between humans and the universe, and she brings this sense of wonder to her work with students every day.
Jie
Instructor
Jie holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and has extensive experience as both a tutor and lecturer. He brings deep knowledge of mathematics and physics to the classroom and is especially skilled at helping students improve their study habits, note-taking techniques, and test-taking strategies.
Jie is committed to building strong relationships with students, parents, and educators. His well-rounded teaching approach ensures students receive the academic support and motivation they need to grow their math confidence.
Victoria
Instructor
Victoria is currently studying in the Co-op Physical and Environmental Sciences programme at the University of Toronto Scarborough, where she plans to major in biochemistry. In high school, she earned Distinction and received certificates for Outstanding Science Scholarship and Excellence in French.
Victoria has worked with children through programmes at the Pickering Public Library and in local tutoring roles. She enjoys sharing her love of math by helping students build confidence. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys reading, knitting, and caring for her two betta fish, Minnie and Lulu.
Dev
Instructor
Dev is studying Computer Science at the University of Toronto and has a strong academic background with multiple scholarships and awards. A natural problem solver, he enjoys breaking down complex topics into manageable steps to help students succeed.
He has volunteered as a youth instructor at the YMCA and is a member of Toastmasters. At Mathnasium, Dev brings his talents and enthusiasm to support students in developing a deep understanding of math.

Shahela is an experienced math teacher and tutor with over 10 years of experience. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Education, Physics, and Mathematics. Her passion for teaching shines through in every session she leads at Mathnasium.
She loves guiding students of all ages to academic success and building their math confidence. Shahela is excited to continue helping students thrive by making math understandable, enjoyable, and empowering.
Saood
Instructor
Saood holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering. He is passionate about helping young learners develop a love and appreciation for math. Drawn to Mathnasium for its mission to foster math skills in students, Saood is excited to share enthusiasm for the subject with the next generation. He believes that though the world is vast, there is no great gift than that of education, from which endless opportunities arise. Outside of his interest in teaching, Saood works as a Software Developer, bringing both analytical and problem-solving skills to his role as an instructor. In his personal life he enjoys learning new skills and helping others.

Angelica is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business from Ontario Tech University. Angelica has excellent math skills and enjoys helping students of all ages become better at learning and understanding math.
