Sheetal is the Centre Director at Mathnasium of West Vancouver and has been with Mathnasium for three years. She holds a degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Toronto and began her career working in laboratories before transitioning to education in 2013.
She fondly remembers playing multiplication table games with friends and believes, “Wherever there is number, there is beauty.” Her favorite number is 1, and outside of teaching, she enjoys playing badminton and basketball.
Kirti holds a bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, a master's in Zoology and Business Administration, and is currently pursuing an MBA. She has over four years of experience teaching math and programming to students of various grade levels.
She believes math is more than numbers — it's a story that unfolds step by step. At Mathnasium, Kirti is dedicated to helping students discover the beauty and joy in mathematics.
Bhanu Priya holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Computer Networking. She brings three years of software engineering experience and a passion for problem-solving to Mathnasium.
Bhanu compares math to solving puzzles and enjoys making learning math both fun and approachable. She looks forward to helping students build strong skills and enjoy the journey along the way.
Rishva Amin is studying Information Technology at Fairleigh Dickinson University with a minor in Business Administration. She brings tutoring experience and a strong commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Her communication and problem-solving skills help make complex concepts more accessible. At Mathnasium, she enjoys helping students build confidence and succeed in math.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus on Mathematics and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Mathematics at UBC. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students of all ages, helping them not only understand math but also appreciate its beauty and logic. What I find most rewarding in teaching is guiding students as they work through challenges and observing their understanding develop step by step. For me, true success is not only helping a student arrive at the correct answer, but also fostering the confidence and skills to approach mathematics independently. I particularly enjoy witnessing the moment when a concept “clicks” and students realize that math is not something to fear, but a subject they can master.
