Nushina is a dedicated and self-motivated educator who is passionate about helping students develop confidence in math. She has completed coursework toward both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education at the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg. As a parent and active community volunteer, Nushina enjoys exploring different learning approaches to create nurturing and engaging environments for children.
She believes that a strong foundation in math allows students to tackle challenges fearlessly. Nushina is inspired by the Mathnasium Method™, which fosters confidence, enhances problem-solving skills, and unlocks opportunities for lifelong learning.
Dr. Mukhi brings over 20 years of innovation in biosurveillance and public health informatics to his role as Co-Owner of Mathnasium of Windermere. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Manitoba, a Master’s degree from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, where he graduated as a double gold medalist.
With a passion for lifelong learning, Dr. Mukhi is committed to helping children develop critical thinking and logical reasoning through math. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, watching movies, and playing soccer and darts with his family.
Chad holds a degree in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Alberta. He believes in meeting students where they are and addressing their unique learning needs to help them succeed in math.
Chad is passionate about using the Mathnasium Method™ to build both skill and appreciation for mathematics. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exploring new video games, and trying obscure recipes from the internet.
Zia is a Faculty of Science Honours student at the University of Alberta and has been with Mathnasium of Windermere since its opening. He plays a key role in instructing both elementary and high school students.
Zia enjoys helping students gain clarity and confidence in math. Outside of Mathnasium, he likes watching and playing soccer, restoring cars, and playing video games.
Faculty of Kinesiology/Education at the University of Alberta. Fun Fact: Brian visited every Province except Newfoundland and Labrador during the summer of 2023. Interests/hobbies: football, coaching, piano, golfing, going out with friends, sleeping.
Matthew Tam is a Faculty of Science student at the University of Alberta. He enjoys teaching math and seeing students grow in their mathematical abilities. Matthew hopes that his students will come to a solid understanding of math because he believes it is crucial to their success in the future. Matthew also enjoys watching chemistry videos, gaming, and hanging out with his siblings.
