Hi everyone! I’m Aveil, the Centre Director here at Mathnasium. I love helping students turn “I can’t do math” into “I’ve got this!” Watching confidence grow alongside skills is my favourite part of the job. I’m excited to work with families and instructors to make math a positive, empowering experience for every student who walks through our doors.

Dina Dimakis

Dina Dimakis has been a dedicated member of the Mathnasium team for over five years, beginning her journey as an Instructor and progressing to Lead Instructor and now Assistant Centre Director. She holds a degree in Mathematics and brings both strong subject knowledge and hands-on teaching experience to her role. Dina is passionate about making math fun, engaging, and approachable for students of all ages. She takes pride in helping children build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and discover their potential in a supportive and encouraging learning environment

At our centre, students are supported by a team of passionate instructors who come from a variety of cultural, academic, and professional backgrounds. This diversity allows us to connect with students in meaningful ways and create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment where every child feels understood and supported.

While our instructors bring their own unique perspectives, they are all extensively trained in the Mathnasium Method. This ensures that instruction is consistent, structured, and aligned across the centre, no matter which instructor a student is working with. Lessons are carefully delivered to build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and encourage problem-solving—without ever feeling repetitive or overwhelming.

Most importantly, they are committed to making math an engaging and positive experience. By combining proven teaching methods with energy, encouragement, and individualized attention, we help students enjoy learning while achieving measurable progress.
