Buffalo Grove's personalized algebra tutoring programs are designed to support students at every stage of their math journey.
At Mathnasium of Buffalo Grove, our specially trained math tutors help students of all skill levels master any K–12 algebra topic, from foundational pre-algebra to advanced algebraic equations.
We support students enrolled in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 and provide face-to-face instruction in a caring and fun group environment.
We use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary approach that combines diagnostic assessments, personalized learning plans, and proven techniques to teach algebra in a way that makes sense.
Our tutors build upon what students already know, strengthening foundational skills and introducing algebra concepts gradually so they can truly understand and even enjoy the subject.
Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment. Based on the assessment insights, we develop a personalized learning plan that targets their unique needs, whether they need to catch up, keep up, or get ahead.
We adjust the frequency of sessions and use teaching techniques that match how each student learns best. Our tutors follow the plan and adapt in real time so students progress at the pace that helps them build confidence and truly understand the concepts they are working with.

Saathwik
Instructor
Hi, I'm Saathwik Bhamidipaty, I'm a senior in high school with a passion for all things math. While I enjoy a good challenge in any area of math, calculus is my favorite. I love the way it helps us understand the world and solve complex problems. When I'm not doing math, you can probably find me watching episodes of my favorite show, Suits. Some other things I love doing is going to the beach or to hang out with my friends.
Maya
Instructor
Maya has always loved math and enjoys helping kids build confidence and develop a genuine love for learning it. She is passionate about creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel motivated to grow. She especially enjoys real-world applications of math, because they show students how what they’re learning actually connects to their lives—making math more meaningful and fun. Outside of Mathnasium, Maya enjoys playing and coaching tennis.
Aidan
Instructor
Aidan has always loved math and problem solving since he was young. When he first started teaching during high school he realized he enjoyed spreading that love of math and problem solving in a way that helps students continue to grow. When not having fun teaching, Aidan likes to read, hang out with friends, and play all kinds of board games and video games. Aidan is also a big fan of music and film.
