Nick is the Centre Director and owner of Mathnasium South Kensington. He joined Shell from Exeter University, performing several corporate management roles over the following years. He left Shell to attend the world-leading business school INSEAD in order to attain an MBA. On graduating, he founded and grew a small branded chain of Pan Asian casual-dining restaurants over the next 20 years before making a successful exit. Nick is enthusiastic about helping every child in the community to truly understand maths by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. Nick enjoys film, theatre, art, music, travel and cooking, is a keen skier and tennis player and also loves now watching (rather than playing!) football, rugby and cricket.
Yiran is currently a first-year undergraduate at Imperial College of London, studying Mathematics. She achieved 98% in both Extended Mathematics and Additional Mathematics for her International GCSE. She has always been fascinated by the subject, and wants to show the fun side of Mathematics to more kids. Other than maths, she also enjoys reading fiction, in particular historical or science fiction.
Numbers have always been Siddhesh's native language. Ever since he achieved 97% in mathematics in 10th standard in India, he's seen the world through equations, logic, and elegant solutions. That early spark grew into a fascination with structure, precision, and problem-solving—skills that now anchor both his academic and creative pursuits.
Currently pursuing an MSc in Cybersecurity at City University, Siddhesh approaches digital defence with the same clarity and curiosity that he once brought to solving algebra problems. Whether it’s breaking down complex encryption or uncovering vulnerabilities, his mathematical mindset is always at play.
When Siddhesh is not decrypting code, he's composing rhythm. Playing the tabla and harmonium lets him explore a different kind of pattern—one where logic meets emotion, and precision meets performance. Siddhesh believes that whether in mathematics, music, or cybersecurity, mastery lies in finding beauty in structure.
Nuri is currently a second-year undergraduate at City, St. George’s University of London, studying Mathematics. He self-taught himself Further Mathematics for his GCSE, which sparked a deeper interest in the subject. He enjoys the challenge and logic that maths offers, and is especially interested in how it applies to real-world problems. Nuri is passionate about making maths more accessible and engaging for others. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football and basketball, and is also an avid fan of video games.
Stefan is a first year undergraduate at Imperial College London studying Physics with Theoretical Physics. He achieved A* in both Maths and Further Maths at A-Level. He is passionate about encouraging kids to be curious about the world through maths. Other than maths, he enjoys music, literature and rock climbing (and doesn't like writing about himself in the third person).
I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuit Design at Imperial College London. I have always been passionate about solving puzzles, reading fiction, and watching suspense thrillers — anything that challenges the mind and involves uncovering mysteries. I see math the same way: a series of fascinating puzzles waiting to be solved with the right tricks and strategies. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can develop a strong appreciation for math. At Mathnasium, I am excited to help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and discover the fun and beauty in mathematics.
