Tobias Burch

Hi, I'm Tobias Burch. I studied at both Beacon Sixth Form and North Kent College. I joined the team as Assistant Centre Manager and have been incredibly impressed to see how great of an environment this has been both for the children and the staff. It's inspiring watching each individual progress, whether it be our students or our team members. I loved Maths in school and I've learnt to love Maths again here. Outside of the centre, I've enjoyed competitive esports, creating music and editing for social media. I hope to one day open a centre of my own!

Jennifer Bekker

Hi, I’m Jennifer, a graduate teacher with a major in mathematics. Maths is the one thing that truly makes sense to me, and I love helping students feel the same way. After 8 years of private tutoring I’m really impressed by the dynamic at Mathnasium. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the learning environment is both supportive and engaging. It really fosters a sense of confidence and excitement about learning maths!

James Thurgood

I’m James, an A-Level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Computer Science. I’m passionate about maths and excited to take that passion to the next level at university. At Mathnasium, I love helping kids crack tough problems and watching their confidence grow!

Kav Copas

I have background in science & engineering and experience of working in industry, business & higher education. I love the challenge of helping our students develop their maths skills. Seeing students develop problem solving skills and enjoyment of learning is really rewarding.  I believe Mathnasium's approach impacts students' education experience beyond maths and hopefully opens up future work opportunities. I also work as a development coach and help people in sport, business and personally to understand how psychological factors affect their health and performance. Developing resilience and a self-coaching mindset can be transformative on a personal and professional level. 

Maria Tincu

I'm Maria, an A-level student studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry, I love to find the trickiest maths questions to do in my free time, as I would like to pursue a career maths related in the future. I love to help students develop both their maths skills and their confidence, as I believe there is not a nicer feeling than the one of success!

Hasmik Amirbekyan

Hi, I’m Hasmik! I’ve always loved mathematics because there’s something really satisfying about solving problems and helping concepts finally “click.” I’ve been working at Mathnasium for over a year, helping students of different ages grow in both skill and confidence. I love seeing students go from “I can’t do this” to “Wait… I actually get it now!”

One of the things I enjoy most about Mathnasium is the positive and encouraging atmosphere. I love helping students build confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and discover that maths doesn’t have to feel scary — it can actually be fun!

Madeleine Braithwaite

Hi I'm Madeleine, I'm an IB student studying Higher Level Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. I want to study mathematics at University, and beyond. I really enjoy going over topics again and again until I understand them perfectly, as the satisfaction is very rewarding.
