Joy Perry

Center Director

Meet Joy Perry, an experienced educator with a B.A. from Hampton University and a master’s degree from New York University. Joy believes math is essential to every subject and is a powerful tool for building academic confidence.  

For the past four years, she has led her Mathnasium center with energy, creativity, and care. Her approach blends engaging instruction with structure, ensuring students stay motivated while developing the discipline needed for long-term success. Joy’s goal is to make math meaningful, relatable, and fun for every student. 

Cristian Aeloiza

Lead Instructor

Cristian is pursuing a degree in Applied Mathematics at NC State University, with interests spanning physics, economics, and beyond. At Mathnasium, he channels his passion for math into guiding students through engaging conversations and innovative strategies.  

Cristian believes that nurturing curiosity leads to deep understanding, and he takes pride in helping kids grow both their skills and confidence in math. His favorite moments are when a student says, “Oh! That makes sense now.”

Baljeevan, a student at North Carolina State University, is passionate about mathematics and has the analytical expertise to contribute innovatively in dynamic professional environments. He excels at solving complex problems and advancing mathematical applications.

With strong mathematical skills and excellent communication abilities, Baljeevan is an outstanding instructor who inspires his students. He deeply values his role as an instructor, finding joy in helping kids grasp new math concepts in ways they never thought possible, making the learning experience both rewarding and fun!
