Casey has been the Center Director at Mathnasium of Arrowhead since 2024. He graduated Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in Economics and a double minor in Sociology and Accounting. With a background in team leadership, Casey aims to create a positive learning environment for every Mathnasium student. He believes that math can be approachable and fun for all students regardless of their starting point.
Casey grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, but moved to Phoenix for middle and high school. He attended Desert Foothills middle school and graduated from Greenway High School. His favorite teacher was Mr. Amen for Econ/Gov.
In his free time, Casey enjoys spending time with his wife on hiking trips up north, cooking, gardening, and planning holidays. His favorite holiday is Christmas. He always looks forward to putting up decorations and eating Christmas cookies. His favorite winter activity is having s'mores by a campfire.
Alaina is a junior at Arizona State University, majoring in Medical Sciences. Her passion for learning and helping others drives her work at Mathnasium, where she enjoys supporting students and watching their skills and confidence grow.
Outside of Mathnasium, Alaina loves painting, spending time with friends, and making memories with her family. She believes that every student can succeed in math with the right encouragement and is excited to be part of their journey.
Alex is a freshman at Arizona State University who enjoys getting to work with math every day. He loves how math can open doors to many opportunities and even help people make smart financial decisions.
Outside of Mathnasium, Alex enjoys playing chess and weightlifting. He’s excited to help students build strong math skills and confidence!
Summer is a student at Glendale Community College who enjoys helping students build confidence and understanding in math. She especially loves the practical, real-world applications of math and how it connects to everyday life.
In her free time, Summer enjoys going to the lake, reading, listening to music, and watching television. She’s excited to support students at Mathnasium and make math meaningful and approachable!
Nehemiah attends school at Dream City Glendale and is excited to work at Mathnasium, where he enjoys helping students learn and grow in confidence. He loves the formulaic nature of math and how clear steps can lead to strong understanding and success.
In his free time, Nehemiah enjoys hiking in Sedona with his mother and stepfather. He’s looking forward to supporting students and making math a positive, approachable experience.
Jeff studied at Southeast Missouri State University and is a former teacher who’s excited to bring his experience to Mathnasium. He enjoys helping others and loves that math always has an answer—making it a subject where students can gain confidence through clear, logical problem-solving.
When he’s not working with students, Jeff enjoys gaming, model railroading, and staying active through fitness. One of his favorite memories is the time he hit a golf ball across a pond and watched it skip across the water before landing safely on the other side! He’s thrilled to support students as they strengthen their math skills and discover the satisfaction of finding solutions.
Abigail is a homeschooled student who loves helping others learn and grow. She enjoys math because there’s always an answer, which makes problem-solving both satisfying and confidence-building for students.
In her free time, Abigail enjoys roller blading, volunteering at her church, and traveling to Colorado with her family. She’s excited to support students at Mathnasium and help make math a positive experience!
Eshal is a freshman at Arizona State University who loves engaging with students and making math both fun and approachable. She especially enjoys how there are many different ways to solve math problems, allowing students to find methods that work best for them.
In her free time, Eshal enjoys studying, following Formula 1, and spending time at the beach with her family. She’s excited to help students build confidence and enjoy learning math!
Hansika is a master in mathematics up through AP Calculus BC. She wants students who are hesitant about math to know that they shouldn't give up because math is fun once you learn a few tricks! She loves the applicability of math to real-world problems.
Outside of Mathnasium, Hansika enjoys watching the Big-Bang Theory and to learn more about different perspectives from reading books. She once went parasailing in Mexico and looks fondly of the day that she adopted her dog who is now her best friend!
Josie is thrilled to bring her math expertise to Mathnasium of Surprise! She went to Mare Island Technology Academy and SAE Expression College! She is excited to be able to regularly exercise her math skills while at Mathnasium. She loves how math is consistent and can be used to understand the world better.
Outside of Mathnasium, Josie keeps busy with cross stitch, video games, sewing and theater! She had a great time going to the Renaissance festival with her sisters. She also loves to shop at Hobby Lobby.
Tuhina is excited to bring her math expertise to the Arrowhead community! She is a master at math through AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics. She wants students to know that it is okay to struggle with math sometimes. She loves how math always has a solution no matter how difficult it can be to get there.
Outside of Mathnasium, Tuhina enjoys baking! She is a big fan of quesadillas, and her favorite movie is The Odyssey. She has great memories from the time she went to Disneyland and the beach.
