Bhumika Thakkar is deeply passionate about helping children develop strong math skills, recognizing that math is a fundamental tool for success in school and beyond. With years of experience in the retail industry as a first-line healthcare provider, she has always been committed to serving the community. Bhumika firmly believes that math is not just about numbers—it builds problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence that benefit students in all areas of life. Bhumika is dedicated to helping kids overcome their fears of math, strengthen their foundational skills, and excel in their academics. With personalized instruction tailored to each child’s needs, she strives to make math a subject that students not only understand but truly enjoy. Her goal is to empower young learners with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in school and achieve their full potential.
Ashish Thakkar has always had a deep appreciation for math, a subject he fell in love with during his elementary school years. With a Pharmacy degree from Sardar Patel University, India, and an M.S. in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Science from Northwestern University, he has spent years working in the clinical research industry in various roles. Throughout his career, he has seen firsthand how strong problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking—skills rooted in mathematics—are essential in everyday life and professional success. Ashish is passionate about helping children develop a solid math foundation in a way that is engaging, accessible, and tailored to their learning needs. He firmly believes that math is more than just numbers; it is a life skill that enhances critical thinking, decision-making, and confidence in every child. Whether it’s managing finances, understanding patterns in nature, or excelling in STEM careers, math plays a crucial role in shaping a successful future.
Just this past May, I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a BSEd in Secondary Education and BA in History with a minor in Theology. I received my Professional Educators License in May 2025. I have an English as a Second Language Endorsement and am licensed to teach K-12.
I am passionate about educating students to guide them in reaching their fullest potential. I am looking forward to meeting each and every parent and child that walks through the door here at Mathnasium of Bartlett. Whether your child is struggling or needs a challenge, we are here to help!
