Sainam holds a Bachelor of Mathematics with a minor in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington. Her love of math blossomed early and led her to Mathnasium, where she now inspires young learners to build strong mathematical foundations.
As ACD and Senior Instructor at Mathnasium of Mill Creek, she teaches across a wide range of topics, adapting lessons to each student’s level. Sainam’s enthusiasm and encouragement create an engaging classroom atmosphere that helps students grow both in skill and confidence. She is dedicated to making each lesson meaningful and fun.
Ira is the Owner and Managing Director of Mathnasium of Bothell, Mill Creek, and Maple Valley. She previously worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer and Program Manager. With a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Statistics, Ira also pursued actuarial studies.
Her journey with Mathnasium began as a parent, when her son became a student. This experience inspired her to join Mathnasium’s mission of “Changing Lives Through Math,” a commitment she carries into every aspect of her work.
Shashi has a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Delaware. He graduated with a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) Delhi, India. He was a professor of civil engineering at Texas A&M University for four years and at I.I.T. Delhi for 35 years until he retired. He relocated to the US post retirement. He has worked extensively in the area of water resources engineering with key focus on groundwater contamination and bioremediation technologies. He strongly believes that math develops problem solving skills and sharpens critical and analytical skills in young minds. In his free time, he enjoys painting with acrylic colors.
James has a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics from the University of California, San Diego. His favorite subjects are linear algebra, probability, logic, and relativity. He enjoys the act of explaining math to others and helping them understand mathematical concepts. In his free time, James likes to play the drums.
