• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Bountiful offers both in-center and online tutoring options. Students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction in a supportive group environment from the same specially trained tutors, regardless of whether they attend in person or online.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, students who attend Mathnasium of Bountiful online receive the same quality of instruction and attention as they would in our center. They work with the same specially trained tutors and follow the same learning plans tailored to their needs and goals.

• What math classes can your Bountiful tutors help with?

  We help students learn and master any K–12 math class or topic, from early arithmetic to Algebra, Geometry, and beyond. 

  Our specially trained math tutors in Bountiful use personalized instruction to help students close knowledge gaps, strengthen foundational skills, and enhance problem-solving abilities. 

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Bountiful?

  We provide math-only tutoring through a flat monthly membership. Most students benefit from attending 2–3 sessions per week. During your free assessment, we’ll determine the best learning plan for your student.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of Bountiful?

  No, membership fees are the same whether students attend in person, online, or through a combination of both.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Bountiful?

  Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand their current skill level, identify learning gaps, and define their academic goals. This allows us to create a customized learning plan tailored to their individual needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Bountiful, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional strategies. 

  We build on what the student already knows, introducing new concepts step-by-step. This approach helps students make sense of math, close knowledge gaps, and build solid foundations for math mastery while enhancing their problem-solving skills and confidence in math. 

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes, we work with students of all skill levels, whether they need to catch up, keep up, or get ahead in math. 

  Students who are struggling benefit from personalized instruction that helps them develop key skills and understanding. Advanced learners can participate in enrichment programs that challenge their thinking and expand their knowledge. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Bountiful?

  Yes, we work with K–12 students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschooled, private, and public school families across Bountiful, North Salt Lake, and nearby areas.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes, our tutors dedicate part of each session to helping students with their math homework and ensuring they understand the material covered in school.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No, all learning happens during sessions with our specially trained tutors. We do not assign homework so students can focus on making progress while they’re with us.

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes, we help students prepare for standardized and school-based math tests, including state assessments, ACT®, and SAT®. Our test prep includes personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and proven strategies that build both skills and confidence.
