Ricky Woo is the Owner & Center Director of Mathnasium of Carson. Prior to entering the world of supplemental education, he was a tech entrepreneur. Having recently relocated his family from Sydney, Australia to California, he now applies that same innovative spirit and leadership to his true passion: helping others overcome challenges and achieve their full potential!
He leads a dedicated team of instructors who share his mission of providing a fun, transformative learning experience for every child who walks through the door.
Every day, Ricky is committed to fostering an environment where students don’t just learn math, but build the confidence and critical thinking skills necessary for lifelong success.
Drawing from his background in corporate enterprise and technology, he understands firsthand the importance of a strong STEM foundation in today’s rapidly changing world.
Outside of the center, Ricky is a proud father of two amazing boys and two beautiful girls. As a family of six, they love to travel and explore, a passion that brought them across the Pacific and continues to shape his global perspective on education and the importance of preparing the next generation for a bright future.
Ashleigh Woo is the Owner & Operations Director of Mathnasium of Carson. Alongside her husband and business partner, Ricky, she brings a sharp operational edge to supplemental education. After relocating her family from Sydney, Australia, to California, she transitioned from a career in operational management to pursue her passion for community-driven impact.
With a professional background rooted in systems optimization, Ashleigh ensures the center runs with the precision necessary for student success. Under her leadership, the center is a fun and vibrant environment where data-driven results meet genuine encouragement to help navigate the real world.
At the heart of her work is a belief that math shouldn't be a source of stress, but a source of confidence. She has designed her center to be a dynamic environment allowing children to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
As a mother of two high energy boys and two adorable girls, she understands the challenges of modern parenting firsthand. Managing a household of six while launching a business in a new country has only deepened her commitment to helping families thrive. For Ashleigh, Mathnasium is a mission to equip the next generation with the confidence to build a limitless future.
