Betsy holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. She earned her teaching certificate in Southeast Missouri and taught junior high and high school math for 11 years.
Her experience as Center Director at Mathnasium of Blue Valley in Kansas fueled her passion for the Mathnasium Method™ and helping students make sense of math. Betsy returned to Phoenix in 2018 to be near her family. She has two married children and is excited to welcome her first grandchild in 2025. Betsy enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
Tammie grew up in Glendale alongside her sister and co-owner, Betsy. Before joining Mathnasium full-time, she spent 30 years in the premium finance industry. Her favorite part of Mathnasium is witnessing students’ “aha” moments and watching their confidence grow.
She loves being part of a positive, student-focused environment where math makes sense. Outside of Mathnasium, Tammie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as music, movies, reading, and traveling.
Aly was born and raised in Phoenix and recently graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in mathematics. With a background in cybersecurity, she combines analytical skills with her passion for teaching and helping students build confidence in math.
Outside of Mathnasium, Aly enjoys playing ice hockey and participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and orienteering. She also loves to spend quiet time indoors reading and learning new things.
Georgiana, a senior in the CREST Computer Science Program at Paradise Valley High School, has always been fascinated by how math offers a unique way to view the world. She enjoys combining her love of math with teaching and helping students succeed.
She is also passionate about art, reading, and exploring new areas of knowledge. Georgiana is excited to share her enthusiasm for learning with Mathnasium students and help them develop confidence in their math skills.
Hi! My name is Ryles Terry and I am a sophomore at Cactus Shadows. I wanted to work at Mathnasium because I have always excelled at math and enjoyed teaching! In my free time I enjoy hockey and guitar.
Hello! My name is Natalie Zucco. I’m so excited to be an instructor at Mathnasium! I grew up in New Hampshire and recently moved to Phoenix to be closer to family. I’ve always loved math, and I am working towards getting my degree in Mathematics. I also enjoy reading, the ocean and herbalism.
Hi, I’m Kaylee and I’m a senior at Cactus Shadows High School! I love teaching and working with kids and helping them learn! In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the piano.
Hi, I am Bill George! I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University. Throughout my extensive career designing and selling industrial water systems across various industries, I applied mathematics daily. Teaching at Mathnasium allows me to share my enthusiasm for math with students and give back to the community. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, hiking, and woodworking.
My name is Dylan and I am a graduate student studying Statistics at ASU. I have always wanted to teach, so Mathnasium is a good fit for me. Outside of school and work, I like playing bass guitar, volleyball, pickleball, working out and spending time with my family and friends.
Hello, My name is AJ. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, made my way to Pennsylvania, then moved to Phoenix to be with my sister and closer to home. I've been with Mathnasium for almost a year now and have loved working with all of the different students. I aspire to work in Neuroscience later in life. I enjoy painting, planes, trucks and road tripping with my cats.
