Craig Wilson is the Owner of Mathnasium of Coeur d’Alene. His journey with Mathnasium began as a parent when he and his wife, Esther, enrolled their children to help them catch up in math. The experience was transformative, boosting their confidence and reigniting their interest in learning.
Seeing firsthand the power of the Mathnasium Method™, Craig was inspired to open a center in the Coeur d’Alene community. Today, he is proud to offer personalized instruction that helps students build strong math skills in a supportive, face-to-face group environment.

Center Director
Cynthia brings a diverse background in caregiving, management, and education support to her role as Center Director at Mathnasium of Coeur d’Alene. She is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and understands the importance of building trusting relationships with families.

Allen is a dedicated student at Coeur d’Alene High School with a love for math, learning, and leadership. He participates in several academic clubs and initiatives, including helping co-found the school’s debate team and joining STEM-based community programs.
At Mathnasium, Allen specializes in calculus, algebra, and geometry. He tailors his instruction to each student’s needs while keeping lessons engaging. His curiosity, positive attitude, and commitment to helping others make him a role model for fellow mathletes.

Instructor
Rory brings decades of experience and a unique academic background to his role at Mathnasium. He holds a Doctorate in Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies, with a minor in mathematics. He is also fluent in Mandarin.
After serving in the military and practicing law, Rory now shares his love for math, especially geometry, with students. Known for his patient, step-by-step guidance, Rory helps students experience those exciting “aha” moments when math finally clicks.

Alex is an intelligent and talented math instructor with a gift for breaking down complex concepts into more approachable steps.
As a current high school student, Alex is two years ahead of his grade in math, and is currently excelling in AP Pre-Calculus. He even has the accolades to prove it, with wins in several math competitions.
Specializing in advanced maths and word problems, Alex takes a thoughtful teaching approach, using Socratic questioning to help students find their own answers. He connects with students by focusing on the little things that build trust and understanding, while also providing clear and direct guidance when needed.
Outside of Mathnasium, Alex enjoys boxing and playing guitar in his free time. He uses his skills in building computers and programming to further advance himself in computer sciences, on track to attend BYU as a Computer Science and Engineering major.
With a brilliant mind and a love for learning, Alex brings focus, determination, and optimism to Mathnasium, helping students tackle challenges and build confidence in their own abilities.
