Neil Patel

Franchise Owner

Neil is the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Charlottesville. Prior to opening his Mathnasium center, Neil attended Virginia Commonwealth University and worked as an Instructor at a Mathnasium Center in Virginia. After completing his graduation, Neil worked as a Center Director at another Mathnasium Center in Pennsylvania. As an Instructor and a Center Director, he was able to see one-on-one with the students on how the Mathnasium Method really makes a difference. Neil was not only able to see the difference, but was also able to be a part of the students’ education. Now Neil wants to bring the Mathnasium Method to a new group of students.

Katherine Martin

Center Director

Katherine graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She grew up in Charlottesville and enjoys playing volleyball, kickboxing, and baking. Favorite number: 11 Favorite Math Joke: What do you get if you divide the circumference of a jack-o-lantern by its diameter? Pumpkin Pi. I love Mathnasium: because it allows me to share my love of math with kids and help them see how patterns can make math easier.

Anthony Kahn

Lead Instructor

Anthony has a mathematics degree from Cornell University. He enjoys reading books, especially novels, and playing the piano. Favorite Number: 192 Favorite Math Joke: What did the zero say to the eight? Nice belt! I love Mathnasium because: I like sharing my knowledge and love of mathematics with our students.
