Boryl Nestorov

Instructor

Boryl Nestorov is a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Nevada, Reno. He joined Mathnasium because of his love for math and his passion for helping others understand it. He finds it especially rewarding to see students grasp new concepts and grow in confidence. 

In his free time, Boryl enjoys going to the gym and mountain biking. He hopes to pursue a career in automotive engineering and brings curiosity and focus to every session with his students. 

Tara Joshi

Lead Instructor

Tara Joshi is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno, where she is studying Mechanical Engineering. As a Lead Instructor, she enjoys watching students grow in their understanding and confidence with math. She especially loves when a concept finally “clicks” for them. 

Tara brings care and patience to every student session. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar and violin and spending time with her family. She believes that helping students enjoy math is one of the most fulfilling parts of teaching. 

Kyle Perlich

Instructor

Kyle Perlich joined Mathnasium in September 2023 and is currently pursuing a degree in Finance with a minor in Marketing. He enjoys sharing math strategies that help students tackle challenges with clarity and confidence. 

Kyle's long-term goal is to become a pilot. When he’s not working or studying, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and flying planes. He brings focus and enthusiasm to each session and is proud to help students build a strong math foundation. 

Krystle Cordero

Assistant Center Director

Krystle Cordero holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Public Health. She enjoys working with students on their math skills while also getting to know them as individuals. She believes in simplifying concepts to make learning math less intimidating and more enjoyable. 

Outside the center, Krystle stays active at the gym, enjoys watching Korean dramas, and spends time with her two dogs and her family. She brings warmth and positivity to every session and is committed to helping students thrive. 

Michelle Cho

Instructor

Hello! My name is Michelle and I am a junior in high school. I plan on pursuing a pre-law track after high school. Outside of the classroom, I am the debate captain of our school's team. I also enjoy theatre, leadership, and mock trials. I love working at Mathnasium because I get to see students grow and succeed!  

Minu

Instructor

Hi, my name is Minu and I am currently a junior in high school. I am interested in pursuing biology on a pre-med track at college. I enjoy working at Mathnasium because I get to see each kid improve and become more confident in math. Outside of work, I love to dance and watch movies.

Elijah Burkett

Instructor

Hi I'm Elijah. I'm currently a high school student. What I like most about being a Mathnasium instructor is teaching students the necessary math skills to improve or advance in school. On my free time, I like to go hiking, travel, and read. My favorite place I've been to is London.

Aayan Sheriff

Instructor

Hi I'm Aayan. I will be starting my senior year of high school this fall. What I enjoy most about being a math tutor is meeting new students and being able to share my knowledge with them. I love baseball, tennis, and sushi.

Ashwin Vaidyanathan

Instructor

Hello, I'm Ashwin. I will be starting my senior year of high school next year. My favorite kind of math is working with fractions. The specific subject of math I enjoy is calculus. On my free time, I like to read and play games with my brothers.

Jade Wang

Instructor

Hi I'm Jade. I'm currently working towards my Master's in Business Analytics. In my free time, I like to ice skate, swim, and jet ski. The best part of being a Mathnasium tutor is helping others learn more about math and seeing students' progress.
