Leah Devoe

Instructor

Leah is a senior at Kings Park High School with a passion for math, leadership, and the arts. She serves as Vice President of the Math Club, Editor in Chief of the Kaleidoscope Magazine, and Co-President of the National Art Honor Society. She’s also a proud member of the Varsity Kickline team. 

A former Mathnasium student herself, Leah now loves being on the other side, helping kids grow their skills and confidence in math. She brings both empathy and energy to every session and enjoys creating a supportive learning environment for students of all ages. 

Isabell Colaccio

Instructor

Isabell is a senior at Northport High School and an International Baccalaureate (IB) candidate with a strong academic background. She’s passionate about giving back to her community and volunteers through the National Honor Society. 

At Mathnasium, Isabell brings a thoughtful, student-first approach to every session. She loves helping others understand math concepts in ways that make sense, and she finds joy in supporting each student’s growth. Her goal is to inspire confidence and curiosity in every learner she meets. 

Matt Kelly

Instructor

Matt is a senior at Kings Park High School with a love for learning and helping others. He’s a member of the cross-country team and co-president of the school’s Trivia Team. With a deep passion for math, Matt has taken every math course available to him. 

At Mathnasium, Matt uses his knowledge and enthusiasm to support students as they tackle new challenges. He’s especially motivated by those “aha” moments when a tough concept finally clicks. Matt’s approachable nature and genuine love for math make him a favorite among students. 

Christos Sarris

Instructor

Christos is a senior at Kings Park High School with a strong background in STEM. He leads as President of the school’s Robotics, Coding, and Math Teams. A tech enthusiast, Christos has built two computers and enjoys exploring new software and hardware in his free time. 

He’s equally passionate about helping others succeed. At Mathnasium, Christos creates an encouraging space where students can improve their skills and build confidence. Whether it’s coding or calculus, he enjoys breaking down complex ideas to make them understandable and fun. 

Jack Preisler

My name is Jack Preisler and I’m a senior at Kings Park HS. I play the drums in all of my school bands and am one of the presidents of our Trivia Team. I’m lucky to be one of the people here at Mathnasium sharing my love of math with others
