• Does Mathnasium of Fairfax offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Fairfax offers both in-center and online tutoring.  

  Students receive face-to-face instruction in a supportive group environment from the same caring tutors, whether they attend in person or online. 

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in-center, students receive the same quality of live face-to-face instruction.  

  Online students receive the same personalized learning plans and caring support from our specially trained tutors in Fairfax as those learning in person.

  Mathnasium of Fairfax offers math-only tutoring through a flat monthly membership. Most students attend two to three sessions per week. After a diagnostic assessment, we’ll design a personalized learning plan with a recommended session frequency to support your child’s progress.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  No, the membership cost is the same whether students attend sessions online, in person, or use a combination of both. 

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment that helps us understand their current math skills, knowledge gaps, and academic goals. We use this information to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their unique needs.
