David Schulwitz

   Hello! I’m David Schulwitz, proud owner of Mathnasium of Fenton. As a Michigan native and the son of a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for students to stay confident and current in math. Math is one of those subjects where, if you fall behind, it can quickly become frustrating—and I experienced that myself growing up. My mother often saw the same thing in her 4th-grade classroom, which taught me early on that the right support at the right time can make all the difference. 

   While serving ten years on active duty in the United States Air Force, I finished my military career teaching AFROTC students at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas - many of them focused in mathematics / STEM. There, I saw just how much emphasis the Air Force and other innovative organizations place on math and STEM skills when awarding scholarships and career opportunities. 

   As someone who follows trends in Artificial Intelligence and technology, I’m absolutely convinced that nearly every great career of the future will require strong math ability. That’s why I’m passionate about helping the young people in our community master math early, so they can take full advantage of those opportunities.
