Lindsay has been part of the Mathnasium family for over 17 years. Her journey began as a student seeking help with trigonometry, and she soon joined the team as an instructor. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Cal State Fullerton. Torn between counseling and teaching, she found the perfect blend of both at Mathnasium.
After years supporting franchisees at the corporate level, Lindsay fulfilled her dream of opening her own centers in Fullerton and Yorba Linda. She lives in Placentia with her husband, Tyler, and their sons, Graham and Tate.
Currently studying Business Management at Fullerton College, Haya brings warmth, patience, and energy to her role as Assistant Center Director. With a natural gift for working with younger students—thanks in part to growing up caring for her many baby cousins—she creates a welcoming and fun environment for learners.
Outside of Mathnasium, Haya enjoys listening to music, trying new restaurants, and playing video games. She’s also a proud Swiftie, often bonding with students over their shared love of Taylor Swift.
Skylar is a Journalism graduate from Cal State University, Fullerton, and has been surrounded by a family of early childhood educators his whole life. At Mathnasium, Skylar enjoys helping students build confidence while keeping parents connected to their child’s progress. He has lived in Fullerton since graduating from CSUF and loves being part of the community. Outside of work, he enjoys theme parks, cooking for his wife and child, and going on family walks.

Carlos is currently a student at Fullerton College, majoring in chemistry. He enjoys listening to music and hanging out with friends. His goal is to become a high school chemistry teacher, aiming to be a positive role model for students and to demonstrate how exciting chemistry can be! Carlos believes that math plays a crucial role in understanding chemistry, as it helps explain concepts like chemical reactions and formulas. This connection between math and chemistry is part of the reason he wants to work at Mathnasium—he’s eager to help students strengthen their math skills and see how they apply to real-world sciences. In his spare time, Carlos loves hitting the gym, shopping at thrift stores, and attending local band shows.
