Dylan Freedle

ACD / Lead Instructor

Dylan graduated with a degree in math from North Carolina State University in 2018. In high school, he experienced working with children as a Boy Scouts camp counselor. Dylan believes that being able to think outside the box is a great skill that, when practiced, can help with almost any kind of problem. As a result, he enjoys puzzles, brainteasers, and games of all kinds. Dylan enjoys teaching students math the Mathnasium way, in a way that makes sense to them.

Ranjeet Sunkara

Instructor

Ranjeet is passionate about working at the intersection of engineering, education, and healthcare. As Chief Mechanical Engineer at SSGENZ, a renewable energy start-up, he designs and develops sustainable power solutions while continuously learning and innovating. He is also a certified Medical Scribe with CPR/AED and First Aid training, with experience in patient care through medical shadowing. Teaching and mentoring are central to his work—he enjoys making advanced math concepts accessible and helping students gain confidence. Fluent in English and Telugu and studying Urdu and Hindi, he values building cross-cultural connections. At his core, Ranjeet is driven to apply his skills to create solutions, support others, and make a positive impact.

Jesse Mims

Instructor

Jesse has many years of experience working with students in math. He has a Master's degree in Mathematics and has been an instructor at the community college level, as well as authoring content for an EdTech company called Cengage. He is passionate about helping students understand math and enjoys figuring out the best way to solve a problem. He believes that with hard work and dedication, anyone can learn math and be good at it. In his free time, Jesse enjoys spending time with his family. This includes spending time outdoors playing with his kids and dogs, as well as watching movies with his wife. 

Cade West

Instructor

Cade is currently a sophomore studying Computer Science at North Carolina State University. He understands the importance of K-12 mathematics, as it has become a baseline for his classes at NCSU. Cade has always enjoyed math, as it presents a mental challenge like no other subject can. His path and dedication to helping students with their math comes from his own past struggles with the subject. He knows that anybody can learn math with the right teaching. Outside of school, he enjoys reading comic books, playing video games, and finding new music to listen to. Cade hopes to pursue game development after he graduates, stemming from his passion for video games as well as mathematics.

Colin Lassiter

Instructor

Colin is currently a student at Wake Technical Community College, where he is completing coursework with plans to transfer to a four-year university to study engineering. He has a strong academic background, having taken ten AP exams in high school and earning the AP Scholar with Distinction award. Colin enjoys the problem-solving aspect of math and values how it helps build logical thinking and confidence. At Mathnasium, he strives to help students develop both skill and enjoyment in mathematics. Outside of work, Colin enjoys staying active by running, programming, and reading nonfiction.

Liam Daniels

Instructor

Liam is a Math student at NC State University with a minor in Philosophy. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Science with High Honors from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. Passionate about education, Liam has worked with children through programs like College Mentors for Kids and loves helping students build confidence and curiosity in math. In his free time, he enjoys reading, gaming, and weightlifting.
