Antony Fears

Owner/ Center Director

Mr. Antony Fears is a military veteran, a father, and an artist. He bravely served in the US Army overseas. After his military career, he worked in Georgia Public Schools. After returning to his hometown of Detroit, he attended the College of Creative Studies for automotive design. Antony has a son, who attends Florida A&M University. Antony and his wife, Angela are committed to ensuring that kids have the tools and confidence to excel in math. Mathnasium provides an individualized approach and meets kids where they are. The Mathnasium Method is a great way to encourage kids to have fun while building math skills and confidence!

Mannah

Hi, my name is Mannah. I graduated from Renaissance High School and attended Wayne State University for a year. I am undecided about my major but took interest in music and psychology. I am still identifying the career path that intrigues me most. My interests are playing games and networking.

Liam

Math Instructor
Hello, my name is Liam. I recently graduated from Wayne State University, earning a degree in Biochemistry with some economics practice. Mathematics is important to both these fields, though they may seem very different! I am proficient in algebra as it is my most used level of math. I am also proficient up to geometry and pre-calculus levels, able to help with the concepts of trigonometry, derivatives, and some integral calculus!

Elizabeth

Hello, my name is Elizabeth! I am a graduate of both Grosse Pointe North and Wayne State University, where I got my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. I am competent in Number Theory and Abstract Algebra. My interests outside of mathematics include reading, writing, drawing, painting, sewing/costuming, knitting, and assorted crafts (more generally, I love making things!). I look forward to the privilege of instructing students and passing on my love of math to them.

Hi, I’m Ellie! I’m a student at Michigan State University, and I really enjoy helping students build their confidence in math. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students overcome challenges and take pride in their progress. At Mathnasium, I aim to make math more approachable and help students reach their full potential. In my free time, I love going on walks and hanging out with my friends.

Hello! I’m Ellie, and I am a passionate learner who enjoys reading, writing, and of course, math! I am also a huge music lover. I graduated from Grosse Pointe South and attended Wayne State University for two years. Currently, I am finishing my degree online in Technical Communication with Texas Tech University. Math can be difficult, but it can also be rewarding! With patience and effort, anything can be achieved.

My name is Coy. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Pure Mathematics and Computer Science. I attended Grosse Pointe North High school and played for the hockey team. I enjoy playing chess, solving puzzles, and watching sports.

Hello! My name is Olivia. I am attending Wayne State University studying Civil Engineering. I am from St. Clair Shores and graduated Lakeview High School last year. I love math and am very excited to help others learn!

My name is Terrell. I am an Automotive Engineer here in Southeast Michigan. I obtained my undergraduate education in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology ( formally known as Georgia Tech). I aspire to inspire the youth through Mathematics and its requisite applications. I have many interests and hobbies such as automotive repair, graphic design & freehand portraits. I look forward to contributing to the success of the young minds of the next generation.
