What do you like most about learning?

I like the fact that there’s always something new to learn—that you always have the chance to stumble upon something you would’ve never thought could be so interesting.

What is the biggest impact you’ve had on a student’s ability to become proficient in math?

The biggest impact I’ve had was in helping a student raise his confidence in math so that he trusts the work he puts down on the paper and believes that he can solve the problems thrown his way.

What type of math do you enjoy teaching most?

I love problems that make you think outside the box. Problems that stay difficult no matter your math level or experience.

How do you make learning math fun for students?

To make learning math fun I always stay engaged and serve as their friend, rather than their teacher. I also try and keep them interested using games and fun activities.
