Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oakland University and is a certified teacher in the state of Michigan. Before opening Mathnasium, she enjoyed a fulfilling career as a fourth and fifth grade teacher, leading students through all core subject areas.
Now, Amanda is proud to bring Mathnasium to the Lake Orion community. Her mission is to help children build a strong foundation in math in a way that makes sense to them—empowering them to grow in confidence, master new skills, and unlock their full potential.
Neleh has recently been promoted to Center Director after excelling in her previous role as Assistant Center Director. Over the past year, she has gained valuable experience in both instruction and administration, quickly becoming a standout leader on the Mathnasium team.
She is currently earning her degree in English from Southern New Hampshire University and enjoys arts and crafts, baking, and spending time with her dogs. One of Neleh’s favorite parts of working at Mathnasium is learning new math concepts and sharing them with her students in creative, engaging ways.
Emily is a freshman at Oakland Community College and plans to pursue a degree in engineering. She brings a thoughtful and encouraging energy to every session and is passionate about helping students find joy in learning math.
Outside of Mathnasium, Emily enjoys crocheting, playing video games, and spending time with her cats. She loves being part of a team that provides students with a safe, welcoming environment to build skills and confidence in math.
Alyssa is a high school junior who brings enthusiasm and kindness to the Mathnasium team. She enjoys helping students build a love for math and connect with new ideas in a positive and supportive space.
In her free time, Alyssa loves dancing, reading, and baking. Her favorite part of working at Mathnasium is meeting new students and sharing her passion for problem-solving.
Brandon is enrolled in the early college program at Oakland Community College and is working toward a degree in mechanical engineering. He brings a calm, focused energy to the classroom and enjoys making math approachable for all students.
Outside of Mathnasium, Brandon spends his time powerlifting, practicing martial arts, and participating in theatre. He’s passionate about education and finds it especially rewarding to help students build confidence and develop strong math skills.
