I have a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics. In High School, I was involved in Mental Math competitions. I enjoy sports, gym, and meditation.
Fun Fact: I'm the oldest of 9 kids.
Favorite Number, Why?: 1 because first place or nothing! Lol
Education: Air Force Academy, graduated in 2016. Majored in Foreign Area Studies (Asia), but later got my degree in Applied Mathematics.
Why I like Mathnasium: I enjoy working at Mathnasium because I get to help students build confidence and actually enjoy math. It’s a positive, supportive environment where I feel like I’m making a difference.
I have taken math classes through Calculus 1, in addition to Statistics. I also took Math 4010 and Math 4020 which specializes in learning how to teach the foundational math concepts. I have played several sports throughout my lifetime but Tennis is the one I continued with through College. In high school I won state all 4 years and then I went on to play D1 tennis at the University of Utah. My senior season I was named PAC 12 Scholar Athlete of the Year! In college I worked at Mathnasium as an instructor where I fell in love with teaching math. I then graduated and went on to teach 7th-9th grade math for 2 years. I missed the Mathnasium environment and was very excited to have an opportunity to come back! I love playing pickleball, hanging out with my family and baking cakes.
Fun Fact: I have 3 kids
Favorite Number, Why?: 4. It has always been my lucky jersey number.
Education: I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education and another degree in Child Development. I also have a minor degree in Sociology.
Why I Like Mathnasium: I love working at Mathnasium because our curriculum and processes give every student a chance to be their very best selves. We create an environment that encourages learning while having fun. I love seeing the growth of all our students and seeing the confidence that comes from the individualized instruction.
I have taken college level math, but my favorites were linear algebra and differential equations. Growing up I played a lot of soccer and played on a competitive team from junior high to high school. In my freetime I love to play pickle ball. I have played in several pickle ball leagues and have played in a couple of tournaments.
Fun Fact: I have done 8 back handsprings in a row.
Favorite Number, Why?: 7! Because I like that it is prime and also it is the day of my birthday.
Education: I graduated with my Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics at Weber State University and recently started my Master's of Business Analytics online through Southern Utah University.
Why I Like Mathnasium: I love seeing students progress in math. It is awesome to see them start on topics they are unsure about and then see them master those same subjects.
I've completed and received a 5 on my AP Calculus BC test and am currently taking AP Statistics. I have been in band for about 6 years now and have been in my high school's marching band for 4. I have had the opportunity to travel the state and the nation through band and have been able to improve myself a lot. I have grown physically, mentally, and emotionally as a result of marching band, and grown more confident in leadership roles. For the last two years, I have been the Head Drum Major, the highest position a student can hold. Academically speaking, I will have taken my 8th AP class and my 9th CE course at my high school once this school year finishes. I am set to graduate with my Associates Degree. I have received either 4's or 5's on my AP tests, and received a 36 on my ACT. I have participated in the HOSA medical club, and the Interact service club. This coming year I intend to participate in HOSA, Interact, KEY, and NHS clubs at my high school. I love listening to and writing music. I'm an amateur composer, and am working on writing symphonic pieces, although those are moving slowly. I've started by writing arrangements for performances in my church meetings.

Favorite Number, Why?: My favorite number is the number 2, because its evenly odd, as the only oddly even prime number, and is very nice to do mathematics with.
Education: I go to Davis High School; I am currently a senior set to graduate in May of 2026. My ambitions are to go to the University of Utah for my undergraduate degree in either psychology or neuroscience and then go to an Ivy League University for medical school, eventually completing residency to become a clinical psychiatrist.
Why I Like Mathnasium: I like tutoring, and helping kids work through math, especially where a lot of kids doubt their mathematic abilities. Being able to show them that they can do more than they expect is always a rewarding experience.
The highest level math that I am taking is AP Calculus BC. I play soccer for Syracuse High school and for my competition team. I also have a 4.0 GPA. I enjoy art, sports and hanging out with my friends.
Fun Fact: I am the middle child of 5 girls.
Education: I am a junior at Syracuse High School and will graduate in 2026.
Favorite Number, Why?: My favorite number is 7 because it was my first number in soccer.
Why I love Mathnasium: I love Mathnasium because I get to work with kids everyday.
I have taken all required high school math credit classes as well as AP Calculus AB. I competed in the state HOSA competition, I play high school basketball for Layton High School, I have played the piano for 10 years, and love musical theatre. My hobbies include basketball, singing, watching plays, and hanging out with friends.
Fun Fact: I have a 6,1 wingspan. (I'm 5,10)
Favorite Number, Why?: 2 because I've been 2 on the school roster for as long as I can remember.
Education: I go to Layton High School, I am a senior in the graduating class of 2026.
I've taken Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Statistics for Engineers, and Physics I-III. I participated in Tennis and Model United Nations in High school and work with various clubs at the U. I have worked in tutoring privately for about six years, mostly through friends, family, or other connections. Music and movies are my two biggest hobbies, and I write about both from time to time. I have recently gained an interest for photography and painting as well that I'd like to explore.
Fun Fact: I ended up being at the same dinner reception as Mitt Romney several Christmas' ago. He was a nice guy.
Favorite Number, Why?: 8, because it is perfectly symmetrical.
Education: I go to the University of Utah currently. I went to NUMAES for high school and graduated with an associates before college. I hope to graduate with a degree in computer engineering by 2026.
Why I Like Mathnasium: The quality of math education across the country has been declining in recent years, and I think everyone should do their part in keeping the literacy of mathematics alive in the U.S., no matter how big or small.
I have taken secondary 1,2, and 3, I took AP BC Calculus, and I am currently taking AP Statistics. I am a part of many clubs at my school like HOSA, Interact club, and National Honors Society, and I am President of Chem Club and Secretary of Math Club. I am a sterling scholar for my school for skilled and technical science and I just finished getting my Nursing Assistant Certification. I am a private tutor around the community in math and I am also hired by Davis School District to tutor in CE Chemistry. I love theater and participate in the Davis fall musical every year. I play the cello and ukulele, and I am currently learning the guitar. I also love crafting and creating art.
Fun Fact: I have never lost a fight against a shark.
Favorite Number, Why?: My favorite number is 0 because it is different than all other numbers and has so many fun properties.
Education: I am currently a senior Davis High School but I also take Weber State University classes to graduate high school with a general Associate's degree.
Why I Like Mathnasium: I enjoy helping kids and helping them see how fascinating math can be. While helping others, I am also continually learning more about math and myself.
Reed earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from BYU and an MBA from Boise State University. After leadership roles at Hewlett Packard and Iomega, he launched a successful tech company, Matchbin (now Radiate Media). Reed has also contributed to expanding engineering programs across Utah through state education initiatives.
He’s passionate about helping kids gain confidence in math, knowing those skills lead to future success. His journey into engineering began in 8th grade, after building a DC motor in shop class. Today, he’s proud to help the next generation build bright futures through Mathnasium.
Clint holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and has over 16 years of experience in marketing and advertising. He’s worked with startups and large firms, helping businesses grow. Now, he leads Mathnasium centers across Utah. Clint is passionate about the transformative confidence students gain when they realize they can do math.
Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, hiking, cheering on the Utes, and spending time with his wife and three kids. He once summited Mount Kilimanjaro, elevating to 19,341 feet! Clint believes helping kids love math is one of life’s most rewarding experiences.
