Hi, I’m Myrna! and I love math. Growing up, I was part of my school’s math competition team, and later I earned my MBA from Cornell University. Along the way, I discovered how powerful strong math skills can be, not just in school, but in life.
While working at Deloitte & Touche and later at Citibank, I saw firsthand how math builds confidence, problem-solving skills, and opportunities for success. But my real inspiration came from home. I discovered Mathnasium through my younger son. Seeing how much it boosted his confidence and love for learning inspired me to bring that same experience to more kids.
Now, at Mathnasium of Ken Caryl, I’m excited to share my passion for math and create a fun, supportive space where every child can thrive.
Fun fact: I love traveling! I have explored 26 countries so far and lived in 7 different cities!
Hi! I’m Michaela, but most people call me Mick. I graduated from Denver University with a B.S. in Ecology & Biodiversity, with minors in Mathematics and Socio-Legal Studies, and have been working in environmental roles ever since. I’ve always loved math and problem-solving, and I’ve been tutoring math for over five years. I especially love teaching math because I get to help students gain confidence and get excited when they understand something new. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, painting, or running — and my favorite book is Six of Crows!
Hi! I’m Dayna. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in STEM Education at the Colorado School of Mines. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Computational Math and Science, and later spent a year in Chicago conducting biomedical research.
I love how math helps us make sense of the world and enjoy helping students grow in their math skills. My favorite part of working at Mathnasium is seeing students start to believe in themselves and realize they can tackle challenging problems.
When I’m not teaching, I love dancing, hiking, and watching reality TV.
I’m Annalise, a senior at Chatfield Senior High School! I love helping students build confidence and discover that math can actually be fun. At Mathnasium, I love spending time with kids, enjoy finding creative ways to teach concepts and watching those “aha!” moments when math starts to click. On weekends, you’ll often find me hitting the slopes with my sisters, skiing up in the mountains!
Dan began his journey with Mathnasium in 2022. His background includes both classroom teaching and serving as a Superintendent in Illinois, bringing decades of educational experience to the team.
A recent Colorado transplant, he’s excited to lay down roots, spend time with his grandchildren, and support local students. Whether he’s sharing strategies or offering encouragement, Dan is passionate about helping learners succeed. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, reading, sports, and music.
