Hi, I’m Vinay Mannam, and I’m thrilled to bring Mathnasium to Milford!
I’ve spent much of my career as a Professor, where I teach and mentor college students. Over the years, I’ve learned that being a good teacher is really about balancing roles—sometimes a coach, sometimes an expert, sometimes just a guide—depending on what students need to succeed. That same spirit is what makes me so excited about Mathnasium. Math can feel overwhelming, but with the right kind of instruction and encouragement, kids begin to see it differently.
Here, students will find a welcoming space where learning is tailored to them—whether they need to catch up, stay on track, or get ahead. Our goal is to help them not just improve their math, but also to discover the confidence that comes from solving problems and seeing progress. I have two daughters, who keep us on our toes and remind us every day how curious and creative kids can be. I also enjoy coaching soccer and following college football—two places where teamwork, persistence, and growth matter just as much as they do in math.
Our mission at Mathnasium of Milford is simple: to teach children math in a way that makes sense to them, so they can understand it, master it, and even learn to love it. I look forward to welcoming your family into our Mathnasium community and seeing your student grow in both skills and confidence.
For our community, our goal is to ensure that every child has access to engaging and enriching math opportunities. In addition to personalized learning programs, we are committed to using our center as a community hub - that brings students, educators, and families together around math. By collaborating with local schools, PTOs, and educators, we aim to build confidence, curiosity, and a lasting appreciation for mathematics while creating a shared space where young learners can explore their potential and celebrate success together.
Hi! My name is Meagan, and I’m delighted to be joining the Mathnasium of Milford team! I’ve spent much of my career in the mortgage banking industry, where I used math every day to solve problems, work with numbers, and help people make important decisions—much like real-life math puzzles! I also enjoyed leading a team and supporting others as they learned and grew.
Spending time with my two nephews has helped me develop fun, simple ways to explain concepts and has reinforced how important patience and encouragement are when learning something new.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors hiking, skiing, and kayaking with family and friends -and, of course, spending time with my nephews, who I love to spoil. I can’t wait to help students build confidence and discover how fun math can be!
Hi! My name is Subhash, and I am a high school senior who is planning on pursuing a career in the medical field. I have been always interested in helping people, and my aspirations for medicine and desire to teach in Mathnasium are extensions of that.
My goal is to make and environment where kids don’t feel stressed out about doing math since that was something I always disliked when I was a kid.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
