Holly holds a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education from Seattle Pacific University and a Master’s in Forensic Science from UC Davis. Before joining Mathnasium, she served 11 years as a U.S. Navy Cryptologic Warfare Officer—a role that sharpened her analytical and problem-solving skills.
Passionate about helping students triumph over math challenges, Holly believes in building confidence through collaborative effort among parents, students, and educators. She brings a positive and supportive atmosphere to her center, emphasizing that with the right support, math can not only be conquered, but also enjoyed.
Ira is the Owner and Managing Director of three Mathnasium learning centers in Washington state: Mill Creek, Bothell, and Maple Valley. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, she oversees daily operations, ensuring each center delivers consistent educational quality and fosters a nurturing learning environment.
Committed to community impact, Ira works closely with her teams to implement the Mathnasium Method and support students across diverse backgrounds. Her leadership emphasizes academic excellence, personalized instruction, and a welcoming center culture where every learner feels valued and motivated.
Sainam holds a Bachelor of Mathematics with a minor in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington. Her love of math blossomed early and led her to Mathnasium, where she now inspires young learners to build strong mathematical foundations.
As ACD and Senior Instructor, she teaches across a wide range of topics, adapting lessons to each student’s level. Sainam’s enthusiasm and encouragement create an engaging classroom atmosphere that helps students grow both in skill and confidence. She is dedicated to making each lesson meaningful and fun.
Matthew earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Nuclear Engineering and Mathematics from The Ohio State University. Still pursuing a Master’s in Teaching at Seattle University, he believes math is the universal language of the natural world.
A competitive fencer for over a decade, Matthew was the 2021 Division I Men’s Epee National Champion. He also played trumpet for more than ten years and can solve any Rubik’s puzzle without guidance. At Mathnasium, he brings discipline, curiosity, and puzzle-solving passion to help students see math’s purpose in everyday life.
Seema holds a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering and brings over 20 years of experience in software engineering and management.
Recently transitioning to education, she now combines her technical background with a passion for math tutoring. Seema enriches her teaching with creativity; she teaches dance and fitness to seniors and is an avid painter using acrylics and colored pencils. Her multi-faceted interests let her connect deeply with diverse learners, and she delights in helping students uncover their strengths and take pride in mastering math.
Brian has a B.S. in computer science from the University of Washington. He's always enjoyed math and believes it's the most important subject taught in school. He aims to help the students at Mathnasium enjoy math the same way he does. In his free time, he likes to go on runs and play video games.
