Hi! My name is Kristine. I graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde. I’m a proud parent of two children who also attend Mathnasium, where I enjoy being part of a team that supports students as they learn, grow, and gain confidence every day. The kids bring me so much joy when they are happy—it is so rewarding to see their excitement and pride in what they accomplish. I am naturally creative, a foodie at heart, and love cooking and spending quality time with my family. With creativity, organization, and a genuine passion for helping others, I am dedicated to contributing to Mathnasium’s positive and encouraging environment. Recently, I have started playing pickleball and dedicating more time to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
My name is Roula Nahouli, a mother of four children. Since childhood, mathematics has been my passion and obsession, and I have been fortunate enough to turn this passion into a fruitful career. Alongside my love for intellectual challenges, I am thrilled by climbing in nature and swimming; finding in the sea a presence of tranquility and calmness that restores my balance. My family is a source of strength and pride for me. I am extremely grateful for the blessing of having my children in my life, and I cannot imagine my life without them. Thanks to God, I enjoy every moment spent with them, as they provide warmth that fills me with happiness.

About me: Hey there! My name is Patrick Xiao. From my undergraduate journey, I’ve found a passion for tutoring as a learning assistant (LA). It taught me just how much of a difference mentorship can make in a student’s understanding. Now, I've joined the Mathnasium team at Monrovia to continue doing what I love. By carrying the skills I’ve acquired from LA to Mathnasium, I hope to help each student reach their full potential and build confidence in math. When I’m not teaching, I’m most likely crocheting, playing video games, or exploring new restaurants and boba shops with my girlfriend!
About me: Hi! I’m Albert, and I’m one of the newer additions to the team! I have experience taking math competitions like the AMC and the Math Kangaroo. Those contests have taught me that math can be as stimulating as a game or puzzle, as long as you look at it the right way. In my free time, I make maps.
About me: I love math because of the sense of accomplishment after working through a difficult problem and finding the right answer. Helping and seeing others find that same sense of accomplishment makes math even more meaningful and enjoyable to me. Besides math, I also love photography, dancing, and listening to music!

About me: Hi! I'm Nikhil. I joined Mathnasium because I've always enjoyed math and its neighboring disciplines, I want to become a better teacher, and I believe that laying a solid mathematical foundation is one of the most impactful things you can do for a kid. I did my studies in computer science and physics, and my master's research in quantum computing and cryptography. Nowadays I spend most of my time programming, especially on things like compilers and game engines, but I also do a good amount of reading, calisthenics, and trying to figure out how to make better coffee.

I love math because (as my math mentor teacher once told me long ago...)
Math is the only human topic that can be PROVEN TRUE. Everything else is conjecture or probably true based on observation and overwhelming scientific evidence. But MATHEMATICS IS PERFECT!!! Also, it existed before humans, before earth, before even God if you are so inclined. And it will endure long after we're all gone.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

Are you interested in changing lives through math? We're looking for outstanding individuals with a high level of commitment who are passionate about teaching math. Find out if there's a Mathnasium position that's just right for you!
