Rob Donelan
Center Director
Rob is lefty from the golden buckle on the wheat belt in Kansas, and has been working with students in Mathnasium for more than 7 years. He enjoys puzzles, computers, and math as well as gardening and sports in his spare time. He has been involved in education most of his adult life as a classroom teacher, coach, counselor, administrator, and parent.
Math always strikes Rob as a giant puzzle and he likes the answer to make sense. Helping and watching others develop this joy of math thrills him.

Interesting Fact: Rob loves numbers. He has slept in all 50 states, visited over 30 countries, and has spoken 4 languages fairly well.

Patrick graduated from George Mason University with a Ph.D in mathematics where he worked on bringing mathematical objects to life using 3D printing. He also worked with outreach groups in undergraduate teaching students of all ages the interesting structures not typically taught in grade school classrooms.

There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.
