Elaine is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Mount Prospect and brings a deep love for math and education to the role. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as an M.B.A. Her professional background spans years in IT across the education and telecom industries, and she also taught graduate students before transitioning into early childhood education.
Elaine is passionate about making math fun and accessible for students of all ages. She loves that Mathnasium gives math the spotlight and looks forward to connecting with students and families in a meaningful way.
Beyza is a junior at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she is pursuing a degree in Psychology. She enjoys reading, teaching, and continually learning new things, both inside and outside the classroom.
At Mathnasium, Beyza thrives on helping students build their math confidence and enjoys seeing the progress each student makes. Her warm personality and ability to connect with learners make her a valued member of the team.
Kashyap is studying Computer Science at Harper College and has been with Mathnasium for over a year. He brings strong technical and mathematical skills, with a particular interest in coding and problem-solving strategies.
His calm, thoughtful approach helps students of all levels feel supported and encouraged. Passionate about both math and education, Kashyap is committed to helping students develop lasting skills and confidence.
Gerry holds a B.S. in Quantitative Methods (Statistics) from the University of Illinois Chicago and has a professional background in actuarial science and IT. Over a 30+ year career, he rose to executive roles such as Vice President of Application Development and Director of Business Continuity.
After retiring in 2021, Gerry chose to return to his first love, math, by tutoring students at Mathnasium. He enjoys helping the next generation grow their skills and is grateful for the opportunity to give back.
Oksana has over 25 years of experience in education, including roles as a preschool teacher, music instructor, and elementary school support staff. She studied music and education in college in Ukraine and brings both passion and warmth to her teaching.
At Mathnasium, Oksana enjoys working through math problems alongside students and helping them see math in a fun, collaborative way. She also plays and teaches violin, adding a creative flair to everything she does.
My name is Channuri and I’m an instructor at Mathnasium. I’m currently a senior at Prospect High School, and some of my hobbies include playing tennis and playing the cello.
I am a senior at Prospect High School. I am proficient in all of high school math including differentials. I enjoy going to the gym and playing racquet sports like tennis, pickleball, and badminton. I hope to major in business and the pre med track.
