Christa holds a master’s degree in English with an emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University. She has dedicated her entire career to education—whether teaching English as a second language in Hong Kong and the Philippines, leading painting classes, or inspiring students as a university professor.
While English is her first love, Christa’s true passion lies in helping students build confidence and discover their own potential in the classroom. When she’s not at Mathnasium, you’ll find her working on creative writing projects, painting, or planning her next adventure abroad.
Daniel has a strong passion for math and years of experience helping students succeed. He’s committed to making math understandable and rewarding while helping students grow in confidence and skill.
Outside of Mathnasium, Daniel enjoys creating and modifying video games and exploring his creativity through coding. A couple of fun facts: his favorite color is fuchsia, and his favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption! He’s thrilled to be part of a team that helps students love learning.
A former math teacher, Maxwell has long appreciated math for the way it encourages both logical and creative thinking. He enjoys making math meaningful and accessible for students, and loves finding new ways to connect concepts to real-world ideas.
In his free time, Maxwell continues to learn more math to share with students and enjoys sampling cuisines from around the world. He’s excited to support each learner on their journey toward greater math confidence and understanding!
Andrew is excited to be part of the Mathnasium team! He loves helping others improve their learning, and being a math tutor allows him to share his passion for math while making learning fun and engaging for students. He enjoys helping each student grow in both skill and confidence.
In his spare time, Andrew listens to music, plays basketball, and jams on the guitar. He brings positivity and energy to every session and looks forward to helping students succeed!
Muraad is a junior at Brophy College Preparatory with a strong passion for math and helping others succeed. As a former Mathnasium student, he understands the value of building confidence through consistent practice and support. His goal is to help students enjoy learning and feel empowered through math.
Outside of academics, Muraad enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, and video games. He also has a knack for entrepreneurship and resells sneakers in his free time. His favorite city to visit is London, and he brings energy, focus, and a positive attitude to everything he does at Mathnasium.
Willem is a student at Brophy College Preparatory with a strong passion for math. Having been a student at Mathnasium himself, he understands the importance of building strong math skills and is excited to share that knowledge with others.
Outside of academics, Willem enjoys a variety of activities that keep him active and engaged. He’s an avid archer, enjoys playing pickleball, and loves snowboarding in the winter. When he’s not on the move, Willem enjoys reading and playing video games, making time to unwind and explore new worlds.
Brian is currently in his third year at Grand Canyon University, pursuing a degree in Math Teacher Education. Originally from Woodland, California—just outside Sacramento—he brings a warm, supportive approach to helping students grow in their math confidence.
Outside of the classroom, Brian loves playing piano, guitar, and singing, and he stays active by playing volleyball. He’s excited to inspire students and share his passion for learning at Mathnasium!
