Megan grew up in Western Washington and holds a Bachelor's degree in Global History from UW Tacoma and a Master's in Teaching from Pacific Lutheran University. She has worked in education since she was 18, including roles as a paraeducator, tutor, and teacher. Megan has experience supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges, as well as language-based learning disabilities.
She has taught in Washington, Indiana, and Japan. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing the “aha” moments when students connect with challenging math topics and build lasting confidence.
Taylor earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Washington State University and has experience working as both a paraeducator and a tutor. His background in supporting students across various learning levels has made him a thoughtful and engaging math instructor.
At Mathnasium, Taylor enjoys helping students approach problems with confidence and clarity. He believes math is not only practical but also empowering, and he loves showing students how it can be applied in everyday life. In his spare time, he enjoys learning new skills and exploring the outdoors.
