Marge is the Franchise Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Oxnard North. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines, and brings a strong background in human resources and entrepreneurship.
Before opening Mathnasium, Marge spent years recruiting, mentoring, and training employees across multiple industries and gained over ten years of experience as a business owner. As a parent, she understands the importance of strong math foundations and is passionate about helping local students build confidence and understanding through the Mathnasium Method.
Celestial is a Mathematics major at California State University, Channel Islands. She enjoys exploring mathematical concepts and helping students strengthen their understanding through practice and patience.
Celestial brings a calm, encouraging approach to instruction and enjoys making learning approachable. Outside of Mathnasium, she loves reading and cooking. A fun fact is that she was born on Groundhog Day. Her favorite math joke is: The English book asked the math book why it was so sad. Do you know what the math book said? “Because I have so many problems.”
Elena majored in Mathematics at Moorpark College. In 2025, she transferred to the University of California, Davis, and is currently taking Applied Mathematics. She enjoys helping students build strong foundations while developing confidence in their abilities.
Elena brings creativity to teaching and enjoys connecting math to patterns found in art and music. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys bouldering, painting, and music, and speaks three languages. She enjoys sharing math humor and believes algebra helps students find the right “algo-rhythm” in learning.
Bryan earned his degree in Mathematics at California State University - Channel Islands. His hobbies and interests include gaming, reading, and listening to music. A fun fact about him is that he has lived in Ventura County all his life. His favorite math joke is "Why is glue bad at math? Because it keeps getting stuck on the questions."
Samuel is currently enrolled at Ventura College, taking Marine Engineering Technology. He will be transferring to California State University Maritime Academy in 2028. His hobbies and interests include swimming, skateboarding, rowing, and cars. A fun fact about him is that he is excellent at welding, and hopes to become a Nuclear Propulsion Officer in the Navy when he is done with college. His favorite math joke is: There are three types of people in the world, those who can count and those who can't.
