Jing is the owner and center director of Mathnasium of Purcellville. She launched the center after a successful career in computer network security and software engineering in both government and private sectors. With a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics, Jing brings a deep understanding of math concepts and their importance in early education.
As a parent actively involved in her child’s academic journey, Jing is passionate about enriching the community and helping students improve their math skills. She is committed to making math make sense for every child.
Tom is a co-director at Mathnasium of Purcellville, bringing years of leadership experience from engineering, consulting, and technology. With a BS and MS in Civil Engineering and an MBA, he has applied math extensively throughout his career, including senior leadership roles at Microsoft.
Tom is passionate about working with students and applying the Mathnasium Method™ to help them truly understand math. He enjoys watching students build confidence as they develop skills in a caring and fun group environment.
Anders is a dedicated instructor pursuing a BS in Computer Science. A Loudoun County native, he brings a strong passion for math, computer science, and global cultures to the center. Students appreciate his clear communication, kindness, and ability to explain concepts in a relatable way.
Anders enjoys helping students reach that moment when math clicks. He believes in making learning personal, supportive, and enjoyable for every student he works with.
