Robin was born in Seattle, Washington with a passion for mathematics. Working as a tutor since high school, Robin has spent years perfecting the art of making learning fun. Robin's favorite part of working at Mathnasium is being able to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for students to learn, and then watching their confidence with math (and themselves) skyrocket. With a degree in Economics, Robin likes to spend free time gardening, baking, playing tennis, and the occasional video game.
Max loves making math "click" for students. With a background in finance, he enjoys showing how numbers connect to the real world, from everyday problem-solving, to big picture concepts in life, science, and finance. He brings a patient, upbeat energy to each session and takes pride in helping students gain confidence. Outside of tutoring, Max enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, following markets, and relaxing with his ragdoll cats Bella and Sophie.
From Olympia, Narinee graduated from the University of Washington with a major in Information Technology and minor in Mathematics. Prior to completing post-secondary education, she spent roughly 8 years tutoring mathematics. When not working, she enjoys going on hikes, exercising, playing video games, dabbling with linguistics, and lounging with her cats.
I began tutoring in college when I started helping local high school students with algebra and physics. Since then, I have worked with students from preschool though college level in reading, writing, math, and study skills, but tutoring math is my favorite. I believe that anyone can learn anything if given the right tools and motivations.
When I am not working, I like to read, obsess over my favorite TV shows, make home improvements, and I am trying to teach myself how to cook and play the bagpipes (not simultaneously).
