Savanna has always had a passion for math and education. After exploring several career paths, she followed her calling to teach and is now pursuing Exceptional Student Education at Miami Dade College.
She has worked at Mathnasium in nearly every role from Instructor and Lead Instructor to Assistant Center Director, and now leads the Tamiami team. Savanna loves helping students gain confidence, develop their math skills, and see that math can be fun and rewarding. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, bowling, and designing on Canva.
Victoria graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University’s Honors College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In high school, she was president of the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society and participated in multiple math competitions.
At Mathnasium, she enjoys helping students strengthen their problem-solving skills while building confidence in math. In her free time, Victoria loves playing piano and spending time with her four cats.
Daniel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University, where he studied Calculus I–III and Differential Equations. He enjoys solving challenging problems and sharing his excitement for math with students.
Outside of Mathnasium, Daniel spends his time 3D modeling, playing guitar, and lifting weights.
Azim is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at Florida International University, where he combines his love for math and computer science. He enjoys helping students understand math concepts and find joy in the learning process.
In his free time, Azim likes playing chess, gaming, and exploring new math puzzles.
Lazaro teaches mathematics at a local high school and believes in helping students think critically rather than rely on memorization. He strives to make math meaningful and relatable for every learner.
When he’s not teaching, Lazaro enjoys listening to music, learning about cars, and watching classic comic shows.
Alvaro is a graduate from Florida State University with a bachelor's in Finance. He has always been a big fan of math in school and that love for math has now translated over to helping students who need support along their math learning journey. Outside of Mathnasium, he loves playing basketball with his friends and family as well as watching movies and tv shows.
