Jared Todd

Instructor

Hi, my name is Jared! I’m currently a senior at the Bronx High School of Science. I’ve always had a passion for math– solving problems feels like working through a puzzle, and figuring out the solution is always rewarding. At Mathnasium, I’m excited to share that love of math with others and help students build confidence and enjoy learning. I want to make math feel less intimidating and more fun. Outside of school and work, I enjoy watching soccer (go Man City!), playing tennis, and volunteering at a local food pantry and soup kitchen.

I love to take an inquisitive approach with students to foster a genuine understanding of math material. I believe math is for everyone, if they’re given the tools they need!

In my free time, I love to watch great movies, and as a creative outlet, I make music and video games. When the weather’s nice, I love taking long walks in Prospect Park!

Jamie Bennington

Instructor
Hi hi! My name is Jamie! I studied math and physics at San Jose State University. I’ve been tutoring since I was 14 years old and it’s my favorite thing to do! While I love math, I also understand it’s not everyone’s favorite subject. I enjoy building relationships with the students I work with and making math fun (or at least less scary!). In my free time, I love to read, play music, watch movies, cook and get into nature and explore new neighborhoods here in New York!
