Hello! I'm David Latham, Center Director at Mathnasium of Winchester, your neighborhood math learning center. I am originally from Acton and went to school right down the road at Tufts, where I majored in Political Science and Spanish and served as a TA for the Physics department. Our team and I are excited to be a part of the Winchester Community!
Julie Lee finds teaching math most exciting when she sees students experience the "lightbulb moment"—the realization that math is both beautiful and fun.
She enjoys building relationships with her students and helping them discover connections to math in their daily lives. Julie was the first Education Director at West Newton, and after earning her Master's degree, she has returned to continue her passion for math education.
Scott Reding holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree from New York University. Before joining Mathnasium, Scott gained over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages, from first graders to undergraduates.
His favorite part of teaching math is providing a conceptual framework for new material and witnessing the moment of recognition in a student’s eyes as everything clicks into place.
