Josh graduated from top ranked Payton College Prep then received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Monmouth College and has over 10 years of combined sales, management, and customer service experience. Some of his professional experiences include Sales & Business Development Manager at LA Fitness, Carrier Sales Manager at Strive Logistics, and Business Development Specialist with TMC Transportation. Josh has also served in the non profit and ministry areas, working as a Respite Care House Parent and spending 2 years as a Director of Student Ministries for 6th-12th Grade. Combining a drive to meet and exceed expectations with a heart for helping students gives Josh the tools necessary to contribute to the continued success of Mathnasium!
Also possessing a background in Football, Basketball, Wrestling, and Track and Field, Josh has served as an assistant coach and coordinator for various sports at the high school and college level. Josh also pursued a professional wrestling career for just over 5 years, garnering interest from top companies such as WWE and Evolve Wrestling. In his free time now, he enjoys watching movies with his wife and dog, reading, and watching & attending sporting events and theatre productions.
Porter is a junior at Boulder Creek High School with aspirations of becoming an engineer. He excels academically and shares his math expertise with friends and family both in and out of school. His dedication to learning and helping others makes him a strong asset to the Mathnasium team.
Outside the classroom, Porter enjoys swimming, playing basketball, going on walks, reading, and spending time with friends. He loves seeing the moment when students grasp challenging concepts, especially the sense of accomplishment that lights up their faces.
Sam is a senior at Boulder Creek High School who has always loved the process and problem-solving in math. He volunteers at his local church, coaching both 6th and 8th graders, and finds joy in teaching concepts to others.
Initially planning for a career in aerospace engineering, Sam recently began exploring a future in ministry to teach people about the Bible. Whether with kids or adults, he values the rewarding feeling that comes when someone finally understands a concept.
