What is the biggest impact you’ve had on a student’s ability to become proficient in math?
I am fortunate to improve math school grades in-person and virtually for several students to A and A+ through personalized learning plans, coaching and practice techniques to promote recall and accurate application. I enjoyed the challenge to work with students with special needs by adapting teaching techniques, using games and manipulatives. The biggest reward was to see the light bulb go on when they mastered math concepts in their own fun way!

Visual aids, challenge problems using real-world examples that they can relate to, "let's do it together" activities and use of appropriate humor!
