Judah is a high school student currently taking Calculus I and excelling in advanced math coursework. While math wasn’t always his favorite subject, he grew to enjoy it once he focused on understanding the “why” behind the methods instead of memorization. His favorite subject is Algebra because it forms the foundation of higher-level math.
Outside of math, Judah loves making music, writing stories, and playing games. He enjoys the connection between math and music, noting that both build on prior knowledge, involve logic, and allow creativity.
Hi! I'm Aidan,
I'm passionate in helping students not only improve their skills but also develop confidence and enjoy math. I've always been drawn to math due to the logical nature of the problems, and I hope to help students of any grade level succeed. Right now, I'm attending Everett Community College in pursuit of my associate's degree in business/finance. All throughout high school, I enjoyed helping my classmates with their coursework in math for the sake of gaining a better understanding of the material. I know that every student learns differently, and for that reason I value adjusting my teaching style to fit your child's individual needs.
I love learning and teaching math concepts as they can help us view the world and the universe. Currently I’m working on a Physics degree at University of Washington Bothell, where I’ve worked on a Physics Education Research project. I’ve studied how students think through problems and have learned what to teach them to help them succeed. I’ve also taken many math courses so I know what topics are most important for students to learn well. I like to make math more fun by introducing easier and faster techniques to help students feel more confident about math.
