  Mathnasium of Stetson Hills is located in the Stetson Village Shopping Center. You can find us just a couple of blocks from Safeway, in a convenient and accessible part of Glendale.

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Stetson Hills offers both in-center and online tutoring.  

  Whether they attend in person or online, all students receive personalized, face-to-face instruction from the same specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment designed to help them thrive. 

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, there’s no difference in quality between in-person and online tutoring at Mathnasium of Stetson Hills.  

  Students who attend online sessions receive the same personalized learning plans, supportive group environment, and live instruction from the same caring tutors they would work with at our learning center. 

• What math classes can your Stetson Hills tutors help with?

  We support students in grades K–12 across a wide range of math classes and topics, from early childhood math and early arithmetic to Algebra, Geometry, and beyond. 

  Working with our specially trained math tutors in Stetson Hills, students gain confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and improve academic performance.

  No. Whether students attend sessions online, in person, or through a hybrid format, the membership fees remain the same.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Stetson Hills?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify their current strengths, learning gaps, and goals. These insights allow us to create a personalized learning plan that puts them on the path to long-term success in math.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Stetson Hills, we don’t follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instead, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that blends structure with personalization. Each student receives a learning plan tailored to their specific skill level, learning style, and goals. 

  Our approach is designed to help students truly understand how math works, breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. This allows students to build a solid foundation for math mastery, improve problem-solving skills, and often transform how they think and feel about math. 

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Stetson Hills works with students at all skill levels, whether they are catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead. 

  Students who are struggling with math benefit from step-by-step instruction to build skills and confidence, while advanced students enjoy enrichment opportunities that expand their knowledge and challenge them in new ways. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Glendale?

  Yes! We support K–12 students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschooled, private, and public school students throughout Glendale and the surrounding areas.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes! Our tutors at Mathnasium of Stetson Hills set aside time during sessions to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand key concepts.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All learning takes place during sessions with our specially trained tutors. We do not assign homework, allowing students to focus on making real progress during their time with us.

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes! We help students prepare for standardized and school-based math tests—including state exams, ACT®, and SAT®. Our test prep combines personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and proven strategies to help students succeed.
