Jackson is a senior at Sandra Day O’Connor High School with a deep love for math, music, and his dogs. Math is his favorite subject, and he’s always looking to learn more and challenge himself. He’s also a proud member of his school’s marching band.
At Mathnasium, Jackson finds joy in helping others grasp new concepts. He thrives on seeing students grow in confidence and feels most fulfilled when he sees their eyes light up with understanding. Helping kids flourish is what keeps him motivated and smiling every day.
Nico is a senior at Sandra Day O’Connor High School. He has always found joy in learning math, and working with kids at Mathnasium allows him to see other kids find the same joy. He has a passion for music, and spends his free time playing guitar, piano, drums, and other instruments. Seeing a topic finally click for a student is the most gratifying aspect of this job for him
Ishaan is a senior at BASIS Phoenix High School. He’s always been drawn to the logical elegance of math and enjoys the sense of accomplishment that comes from solving challenging problems. For over ten years, he’s been playing the piano, finding it a great creative outlet and a way to unwind. Outside of Mathnasium, he tutors middle schoolers at his school’s late bird program. Whether he's explaining a tricky concept or watching a student have that “aha” moment, Ishaan finds deep fulfillment in guiding others. It's this sense of impact that continues to inspire his commitment to teaching.
Nandana is a junior at Mountain Ridge High School. Her favorite subject has always been math because she finds it fun and interesting to do. She loves to run track and field, dance, and bake/cook for her family and friends. She loves to help others because that is her passion. Nandana loves working at Mathnasium because she loves making the kids smile and love math.
Briseis is a junior at Sandra Day O’Connor High School. She loves the logical sense of math and working through the puzzles. Her favorite activity has always been music and band and she will continue that passion in the future through music education. Briseis loves creating connections with the students at Mathnasium and helping them reach their full potential in school.
Aryan is a senior at Mountain Ridge High School. He has always had a passion for math and working through classes like Physics and Calculus. He loves to also hang out with his friends on any occasion as well as watching sports with them. Aryan has a deep care for helping others as well, especially when it comes to children, and, at Mathnasium, he is able to abridge both things in a positive way, helping students learn and understand the subject he loves to learn.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
