Tracy is the proud owner of Mathnasium of Wauconda. Long before opening her center, she was a mathnasium parent. She has seen first hand the impact that the Mathnasium Method can have on a child's confidence and relationship with math. She holds a BS in Chemistry and a PhD in Toxicology.
Tracy is passionate about helping local students thrive. She’s dedicated to making math engaging and accessible, and finds great joy in watching students gain confidence as they master new concepts.
Trevor is a lifelong tutor with a deep passion for helping students grow. A McHenry High School Salutatorian, he began tutoring his peers early on and continued at the University of Iowa, where he earned his BBA as both a Business and Rhetoric tutor. After graduation, Trevor served as an AmeriCorps Member in Chicago Public Schools, tutoring math and teaching English for four years. Now back in the northern suburbs, he is committed to helping students build confidence, strengthen their academic skills, and discover a genuine love of learning.
Cyndi holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Northern Illinois University and teaching certifications in both biology and middle school math. She has experience in both classrooms and educational publishing.
Since 2018, she’s helped guide instruction and staff training at Mathnasium of Wauconda. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown daughters.
Nate is currently a junior taking Calculus BC at Carmel Catholic in Mundelein. With a love for math and teaching, Nate loves to help whoever needs it whenever he can. Nate enjoys watching and playing sports, hanging out with his friends, and cooking. His favorite number is 8, because that has been his soccer number his whole life.
Ankush is currently a senior at Barrington High School. His favorite classes are AP Calculus BC as well as science courses like AP Chemistry and AP Physics C. He participates in running, band, and robotics at his school. His favorite number is 95 because it is Lightning McQueen’s number in Cars. His hobbies include weight lifting and playing the guitar.
Jackson is currently a junior at Wauconda High School. His favorite classes are AP Calculus AB and AP Physics. Jackson loves math and sharing his passion through helping others. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, hanging out with his friends, and learning new things. His favorite number is 30 because it is his birthday.
Krista holds degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration. She’s wrapping up an education degree from NIU with endorsement as a learning behavior specialist (special education). She worked in manufacturing management prior to staying home with her children. Most recently, she worked as a paraprofessional in a therapeutic day school with high school and transition students (ages 18-22). She loves math and science and is excited to work with the awesome Mathnasium students!
Hannah is currently a junior at Barrington High School and is taking accelerated precalculus. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and she loves to read. Her favorite number is 29 as that’s the date of her birthday!
